gay americaJust stick a fork in us.

The United States of America we had known is finished.

Fini. Cooked. Done.

Nos. 26 and 40 of the 1963 Communist Goals For America are, respectively:

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

Homosexuals repeatedly have admitted that gay marriage isn’t about monogamy or commitment.

More than that, lesbian activist Masha Gessen openly admitted what supporters of traditional marriage have long maintained: The push for gay marriage has less to do with the right to marry – it is about diminishing and eventually destroying the institution of marriage and redefining the traditional family. (H/t FOTM’s Siegfried)

Despite all that, this morning in a razor thin 5-4 majority ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the 1996 federal law, Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), that defines marriage as a heterosexual union, saying it violates the rights of married gay couples by denying them government benefits.

It was “Justice” Anthony Kennedy who joined the four Democrat-appointed “justices” — Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor  — to form a majority. Kennedy wrote for the court that the law “places same-sex couples in an unstable position of being in a second-tier marriage. The differentiation demeans the couple, whose moral and sexual choices the Constitution protects, and whose relationship the state has sought to dignify.”

In a related ruling, SCOTUS let stand a lower court’s ruling that found Proposition 8, a 2008 voter initiative that ended same-sex marriage in California, unconstitutional. The state’s attorney general Kamala Harris quickly vowed she would order that marriage licenses be granted to same-sex couples statewide as soon as a U.S. appeals court takes a procedural step, which could come within a month.

I have no human child(ren), but I do mourn for the America that all of your children and grandchildren will be living under.

In the meantime, do excuse me while I go do this:
