Super Smart Dolphins

Scientists say a mark of intelligence is a creature’s ability to use tools. Among birds, crows are known to drop pebbles into a half-filled milk jar to get at the milk. Chimps dip twigs into an ant-hole to retrieve yummy (for chimps!) ants. And, of course, humans are the cleverest tool-makers of all.
But what if you don’t have fingers and you live in water? Well, a family of very clever Bottlenose dolphins figured out a way to catch fast-swimming fish by inventing an ingenious sort of fishing “net”!
A big h/t to my friend Judith.
