Jesus with lamb

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me,
all you who labor
and are burdened,

and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you
and learn from me,

for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy,
and my burden light.”

    Come LORD Jesus.

  2. Vangelis is an amazing composer, w/an unusual ability to create soaring melodies that raise our spirits as well. ‘Chariots of Fire’, ‘Bladerunner, and ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’ are some of his best-known major compositions.

    The last thing my grandfather said to me was,”Life is hard, (Trail Dust), life is hard,” his hand holding mine in a grip of iron.
    It led to a terrible problem with depression. That black dog go darkness became too familiar in my young adult years. I don’t know how I avoided suicide, except for the hand of Jesus.
    But this scripture you cited, Dr. Eowyn, stands in sharp contrast to the words of my grandfather. My grandfather said it is all hard, but Jesus said, come to Me, you who see it that way. I am meek and lowly, and I will give you rest.
    I love my grandfather, but I trust the judgement of Jesus much more.
    Thanks for this post , Dr. Eowyn.
