Sunday Devotional: Ask for a heart that is wise and understanding

1 Kings 3:5, 7-12

The LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night.
God said, “Ask something of me and I will give it to you.”
Solomon answered:
“O LORD, my God, you have made me, your servant, king
to succeed my father David;
but I am a mere youth, not knowing at all how to act.
I serve you in the midst of the people whom you have chosen,
a people so vast that it cannot be numbered or counted.
Give your servant, therefore, an understanding heart
to judge your people and to distinguish right from wrong.
For who is able to govern this vast people of yours?”

The LORD was pleased that Solomon made this request.
So God said to him:
“Because you have asked for this—
not for a long life for yourself,
nor for riches,
nor for the life of your enemies,
but for understanding so that you may know what is right—
I do as you requested.
I give you a heart so wise and understanding
that there has never been anyone like you up to now,
and after you there will come no one to equal you.”

Pray for our supposed political leaders, so many of whom show no understanding of right from wrong, and have abandoned the citizens of their cities and states to the ravage, rampage and violence to life and property by criminals and BLM-Antifa mobs. See:

Pray for President Trump, who relentlessly and unceasingly has been, and continues to be, attacked and besieged since even before he took office. Pray that God lifts his spirit, keeps him healthy, gives him strength and fortitude, and protects him from all evil and harm.

May the peace and love of Jesus Christ our Lord be with you,

~Eowyn

Forgive me, Father, for I seek the lives of the enemies of America…..
Fauci, Gates, Soros, and so on.

Michael . . . I can understand that sentiment only too well. If we look at the scriptures, particularly in the Old Testament . . . there were times when God the Eternal Father send various means to Earth, which including taking the lives of the enemies of the Israelites, so that the righteous might be spared.

I think of all the attributes we might possess, a heart that is wise and understanding is at the very top of the list.

Thank you Dr Eowyn for this timely and inspiring devotional. God Bless you.

Id like to see a Mega round up of all these Parasites that have tried to usurp power away from President Trump.

All of deserve lead to the head.
Let the family pay for the lead just like the Chinese do when they execute someone.

Praying for President Trump.

For the time being, I find it difficult to reconcile President Trump’s concessions to the world health organization, the cdc, and the rest of the hoax pandemic promoters. If after he does prevail in the coming election, and will not turn on this scam, declaring the truth of the fraud and the globalist villains responsible, it should be clear “Tribulations” has begun. Even more so if biden is voter frauded in to office.

I have prayed for discernment and God has given it to me at least in many health matters and other things. Though as Ecclesiastes 1:18, “For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.”
I can attest to that.
