Students Kicked Off Campus for Wearing American Flag Tees

Welcome to the United Socialist States of Amerika.
On any other day at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Daniel Galli and his four friends would not even be noticed for wearing T-shirts with the American flag. But Cinco de Mayo is not any typical day especially on a campus with a large Mexican American student population.

Galli says he and his friends were sitting at a table during brunch break when the vice principal asked two of the boys to remove American flag bandannas that they wearing on their heads and for the others to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal’s office.
“They said we could wear it on any other day,” Daniel Galli said, “but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today.”
The boys said the administrators called their T-shirts “incendiary” that would lead to fights on campus.

  1. “Bong Hits 4 Jesus” went all the way to the Supreme Court, this should too. If Cinco de Mayo isn’t an official school holiday (which it wasn’t, obviously) then, as this isn’t Mexico, the latino students don’t have a right to be protected from being overly-entitled and offended (boo on the left/libtard school district for not ensuring their dsicipline if they were) by non-latino students wearing shirts with American flags on ’em. I’ll bet if they had La Raza T-shirts advocating “Reconquista” (only violent re-seizure of the U.S. southwest by Mexico) that would’ve been “multic-cultural” and good.

  3. Anon,
I’m certainly with you on this. But the entire problem isn’t with the Hispanics; it’s with the liberal government schools that no longer are American schools but communist, socialist schools. I use those two words because our government schools do not teach history correctly, nor do they teach individuality, but rather collectivism. We must also remember that this school system has had many years of progressive education to corrupt it. Many of our teachers are for the collective and nearly all of them belong to the Teachers Union. I’m afraid there is little hope for our children being tutored in government schools. I sent my children to private schools because I seen the fallacies of Social justice, a euphemism for communism, or socialism..

  4. If I were the parents, I’d be suing that school system into bankruptcy.
    And then some.
    This is outrageous.

“I’m afraid there is little hope for our children being tutored in government schools.”
Ron, I used to drive a school bus and had to summit to randon drug tests to insure the physical safety of the children but in the mean time my, then high school aged, step daughter complained that her math teacher, among others, was a loadie…guess the little darlins’ minds aren’t so fragile…

  6. It’s their holiday IN MEXICO not the USA. This is what our country has come to….
Wonder if anyone got kicked out of school for wearing a t-shirt w/a cross on it on this national day of pray? Oops, wait, guess that’s been removed too. Man, I miss my country…

  7. Here’s a serious question:
Why don’t we celebrate Canadian Independence Day, or Australian Independence Day, or The Republic of Georgia Independence Day? I could go on and on, but you get the point. This is the United States of America. Celebrate American Independence Day, not Mexico Independence Day. When you come to America and become an American, you pledge allegiance to America ONLY. No more of this hyphenated American stuff. You are either an American or you’re not. If you’re not – LEAVE! Go back to YOUR homeland and leave mine alone.
This school should be sued for sending these children home. To the max!

  8. Yes, Steve, we can celebrate the Republic of Georgia since it broke off from the USSR. 🙂

  9. Damn!!! I thought you were talking about the State of Georgia–Isn’t that an independent Republic???

    • Wish the state of Georgia was a stand-alone Republic. We’d move back there in a heartbeat.

  10. Shhhhhh, Steve. We aren’t supposed to know anything about this YET. Keep it under your tin foil hat, please! 🙂

  11. Steve,
I’m convinced you are in a discombobulated state of factasimialata and somehow BB watching you would be just as befused as the rest of us. So when two cats are in a grinder barking and the dog starts to meow I will gladly join the chorus and sing praises to the gods of ookygookyland. I’ll even join the new religious group, Octerdunginwhihous and join in their new chant – Obamawannabulahole–Obamawannabulahole–Obamawannabulhole.
