Colbert and Kimmel are Mockers

He mocks proud mockers
but gives grace to the humble. The wise inherit honor,
but fools He holds up to shame.
– Proverbs 3:34-35

These men make their living by mocking conservatives. It’s their bread and butter. They have the right to do this in a nation with the 1st Amendment. But our constitution is not the only authority in play.

All through Psalms and Proverbs are warnings against being or sitting in the seat of the mocker. Such people will be brought down, not by us, or on our timing, but by the Lord, who will judge all things.

Kimmel has that smarmy, insufferably pleased with himself look that makes me want to vomit. Why, what has he ever done? But the Kool Kids think he’s funny. I guess. I haven’t hung out with the Kool Kids in a long time. And Col-Bare..what’s up with that ear? It’s always creeped me out. You know he could afford plastic surgery, is that some kind of demonic sign? Maybe he has an implant there, like Whitley Streiber

I’m from a small village in Michigan, and a lady who sat next to me in band class has 2 sons who are working in Washington DC. 1 for the Dept. of Defense, and the other is a reporter who watches the Dept.of Defense to make sure that they don’t do anything illegal. Both are conservative, the first one was in Iraq, with the military, and got a medal for saving a bunch of lives by his extra effort with computers That’s right, a computer nerd saved the lives of his own company. They share an appartment in the Watergate… Read more »

Good point. What passes for “justice” here is merely a poor imitation of what is to come. I don’t like these two, nor a host of others of similar bent, but I take solace in the certain knowledge that they will reap what they sow.

In this country there used to be some attempt to be civil and respectful to others. Now that we live in “Kool Kid” times this is no longer the case. That’s OK. I wonder how they’ll grin when they are called to account for their miserable lives.

I first saw Colbert on some show he had before his current show. He was a one-trick pony; All he could do was needle his guests for comedic effect. I haven’t seen his show except when Alex Jones or someone else excerpted it for commentary. I believe he’s older than Kimmel, but he plays to the millenial crowd. I’ve seen Kimmel only a couple of times, and I remember when he had his crying fit over his son, which I thought was nothing but shilling his son’s problem for political and ratings gains. Both men are the mockers you identify.… Read more »

I know Colbert took money from the anti-American Communist Clinton Global Initiative and thus his marching orders, but I found this story strange.

Both the ABC late-night host and CBS’ Stephen Colbert took up the possibility of a special counsel being appointed to investigate the Clinton Foundation.
