Shocker not: Hollyweird gun control advocates particpate in movie about gun-slingers

Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron star in the upcoming movie, “A Million Ways to Die in the West”. Here’s the premise and trailer (lots of guns in the trailer):

IMBD: As a cowardly farmer begins to fall for the mysterious new woman in town, he must put his new-found courage to the test when her husband, a notorious gun-slinger, announces his arrival.

Theron has stated, It has to change, she says about the gun ownership laws in America, where there have been 44 school shootings since the 2012 Newton massacre. Where we are now is not helping – we see an increase of gun-related deaths. It’s not working, we have to change it. She is dating Sean Penn who  is a recent convert to the anti-gun lobby, who underscored his commitment to the cause earlier when he commissioned American artist Jeff Koons to make a sculpture out of his 67 weapons.

Also in the gun-slinging movie is Sarah Silverman, who appeared in a gun control political ad (17 second mark).

Surprise, surprise, Hollyweird celebrities making money off of promoting gun violence while demanding your guns be controlled.

  1. It never ceases to amaze me that these Hollyweirdos can’t see the hypocrisy and inherent contradiction between their gun-control stance and their active participation in movies saturated in gun violence. Must be their preening narcissism that renders them so selectively blind.

  2. I think their message is clear. Guns, like morality, decency, character, and courage, are only for play and make-believe. In the real world we are supposed to just accept victimization to crime and corrupt government.
