She saw hundreds of Angels where Flight 93 crashed on 9-11

Flight 93
On September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 93 (Newark, NJ to San Francisco) was hijacked by 4 al-Qaeda jihadists, as part of the September 11 attacks.
Approximately 46 minutes after takeoff from Newark International Airport, the hijackers breached the Boeing 757–222’s cockpit and overpowered the flight crew. One of the hijackers,  Ziad Jarrah, a trained pilot, took control of the aircraft and diverted it back toward the east coast of the United States in the direction of Washington, D.C. It is believed the hijackers meant to crash the plane into either the White House or the Capitol Building.
After the hijackers took control of the plane, several passengers and flight attendants were able to make phone calls and learnt that attacks had already been made by other hijacked airliners on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon outside Washington, D.C.
Some of the passengers then fought the hijackers in an attempt to gain control of the aircraft. During the attempt the plane crashed into a reclaimed strip mine in Stonycreek Township, near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all 44 people aboard including the four hijackers.
Subsequent analysis of the flight recorders recovered from the crash site revealed how the actions taken by the passengers prevented the aircraft from reaching the hijackers’ intended target. Of the four aircraft hijacked on September 11 – the others were American Airlines Flight 11, American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 175 – UA Flight 93 was the only one that did not reach its hijackers’ intended target.
Lillie Leonardi, an FBI Community Affairs Coordinator at the Pittsburgh division, was dispatched to Flight 93’s crash site.
Though she didn’t say anything to her colleagues at the time, ten years later Leonardi came forth to recount what she saw that day.
Leonardi writes in her book In the Shadow of a Badge: A Spiritual Memoir:
“A white mist then began to take shape. It moved and swirled in patterns of spectacular white light. All at once, the mist took full shape and I saw what appeared to be angels.
There were angels standing in the open area to the left of the crash site. There were hundreds of them standing in columns. There was a field of angels emerging from the realms of the mist. They were Archangels with their wings arched up toward the sky.”
Also at the scene was a Bible buried in the wreckage that was somehow preserved from damage, Leonardi noted. “All of a sudden this huge wind came out of nowhere and flipped that Bible open and I remember it flipped open to Psalm 23, ‘The Lord is my shepherd…,'”

Wow, that must have been amazing to witness!

Oh Gosh! that is amazing! You know, a friend of mine never believed in God, he is a professor of philosophy, he loves to argue using logic. But when his girlfriend, who was in hospice, died, he saw a similar thing, and he became a Believer. This is so inspirational, thanks for sharing!

What’s with the crash photos? Those are not accurate.

Thanks for expanding on my meager comment about Lillie’s vision.

If any normal person saw what she claims, I am sure they would not wait 10 years to mention it. I find it funny that now she wants to tell everyone what she saw….now that she promoting a book or whatever she is trying to sell!!!! Shame on her for using this tragedy & religion to make a buck!!

I’ve seen this woman before and I am leery of her. I do not deny people their spiritual experiences; If they insist they had an experience, I assume, after questioning them, they had it. (Then the next question is, from what source did that experience come? This is not to cast any aspersions.) For now, we have to avoid anything that can be construed as sentimentality. We were attacked by terrorists, to be sure. What, if anything, did our own government have to do with it? Simple questions are at the ready: For one thing, if this plane crashed at… Read more »

[…] She saw hundreds of Angels where Flight 93 crashed on 9-11 […]

This story had such an impact on me because that same year May 11, 2001, my son had brain surgery and I had a dream and in the dream was one big angel (metalic) I assume that was Michael and then thousands legions of angels all metalic flying in the sky. I took that as the atmosphere of our world has changed and they know that mankind will need them. They were here before 911 even happened. Thank you God for allowing someone to account for this supernatural experience. Wow……

I am so glad I found this story by Lillie Leonardi, because I’d almost given up finding any stories by anyone that would help me take courage as to what I experienced that morning, that echoes a bit of what she described about the angels. Only I was no where near Shanksville. I was watching the news about what was going on, though, on tv. And, before they had any news as to what happened to Flt. 93, I began to be very concerned about those on that plane. Just as the news caster announced to us that some of… Read more »

God's Hot Spot

Amazing miracle as last night I had a vision of countless multitudes of angels and I was shouting to people to look up to see these beautiful angels. My search for the closest possible image to portray my dream vision led me to your testimony. God is confirming to loved ones to assure them they were received and celebrated by GOD and Jesus as they entered heaven accompanied by their angels.
