Sen. Rand Paul: Deep state defies President Trump’s order to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance

This is why Hillary Clinton and other proven Demonrat law-breakers are still free and not in jail.

John Brennan, the crypto Muslim, was the director of the CIA in the Obama administration.

After Donald Trump became President, Brennan was not re-appointed and his security clearance giving him access to classified information should have been terminated. But it wasn’t.

Brennan has also been criticizing Trump. Most recently, Brennan said he hopes Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and CIA Director Gina Haspel will “stand up” to Trump’s “unprecedented act” of granting Attorney General William Barr “full and complete authority to declassify information” related to the Russia investigation witch-hunt.

10 months ago, in August 2018, President Trump announced that Brennan’s security clearance was being revoked due to Brennan’s “erratic behavior”. But it wasn’t and still isn’t.

Appearing on CNN last Tuesday, June 4, 2019, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) was asked by the host Brianna Keilar:

“What do you think about this the recent New York Times story that Brennan still has his security clearance? This was such a big…promise of the President, demand of the President. He [Trump] said he would pull it, and he [Brennan] still has it!”

Senator Paul replied:

“Well, this is what worries me. People talk about the Deep State, now the Deep State is actually protecting their own and not listening to the President’s orders. I was sitting in the White House when President Trump said, ‘I want his security clearance taken.’ I saw the order given. I saw the [White House] Chief of Staff [John Kelly] was there.

And they’re working against the orders of the President. That really does disrupt our country, does disrupt our representative democracy where the President makes a decision and someone is countermanding that. I think we need to get to the bottom of that, and I hope the President would say ‘Who’s countermanding my orders? I said get rid of his clearance.’

And I do think Brennan has been a partisan, and I think Brennan also abused his office in developing the Trump investigation. I think it was done under false pretenses and done for political reasons.”

Shocker, not.

President Trump needs to get it revoked. Brennan is dangerous…

It is nearly beyond comprehension that the President has given an order, and then that order has been disregarded. There needs to be swift action to correct this matter, and perhaps heads need to roll.

We are at the point, and have been for some time, where we have to ask the question, do we have a constitutional republic or not?. The answer is yes, with a whole lot of qualifiers. It’s simple for us to say that Trump should arrest these people for treason as they are certainly guilty of it, but that assumes that the established mechanisms of government are working smoothly as they were originally conceived. They aren’t, the DS/Odor tentacles are wrapped around every aspect of it. So for Trump to drop the hammer would necessarily involve massive blowback. But we… Read more »

Revoke his security clearance and boot his ass out, oh, and the ones that didn’t follow through the orders of POTUS, they too have to go! Brennan is a communist to the bone marrow, he’s a traitor and a kiss ass rattle snake Obama.

There’s only two possibilities. Either he lied when he said he was going to revoke it, or his subordinates didn’t follow through. Either one is unacceptable.

Yes, it is. Just look at him. You can tell he’s a few bricks short of a pallet. How does he get a job like that anyway? Oh, I remember. Little Barry Sobarkah.

I’ve been watching this from the outset. It is the reason for much of my consternation. He gives orders or says he’s going to do something and they either ignore him, get a judge to overturn it, or simply tell him no. I have never seen another President do that and I don’t recommend it. Whoever’s responsibility it was should be fired immediately. That only leaves me wondering whether none of this is real or he’s incompetent. Remember when the military “declined” to help with the border? That general would be standing in front of my desk collecting his discharge… Read more »

I feel your consternation. I’ve used the analogy of defusing a ticking bomb for Trump’s situation. Be that as it may, there is such a thing as too late. We (I) keep waiting for the calculated sledgehammer blow; we have to accept that it may not come, that this is as good as it gets, that either the election of Trump was merely a stay of execution or he is part of the problem. Neither inspires much hope for the future. Then I remind myself..we are not helpless

I’ve been saying this from the beginning. People keep making excuses for him and dreaming up fairy tales about “soon” something “big” is going to happen. I don’t think so. Truly, when you’re in that position the buck stops with you. If they think they can conspire against you or ignore you, you’re toast. It isn’t wise to conduct contests in the open. He should simply make things happen. Don’t talk about it. Do it. When the cocky start disappearing the others will shut up. If you ask me its worse now. They openly flaunt him to his face. People… Read more »

So how does the current state of affairs get resolved? What happens next and what’s the final act of the play?

If he keeps on his present trajectory it will be a moot question. His “base” got him there. If he keeps turning his back on them he’ll be gone. There is full-blown chaos at the border. Why doesn’t he send the Army down there? Overwhelming force. Keep them there long enough to set up gun emplacements and trip flares. Make a lot of noise, kick up a lot of dust. If somebody gets hurt, too bad. THEY are the ones invading OUR border. Once that’s established it would take six soldiers per gun per day to control it. Then logistical… Read more »

The audacity with which the anti-Trump DS flaunts not only his orders, but the law itself, is beyond troubling. As much as the President has been able to accomplish, twice that has been thwarted by various means. The Q movement once gave me hope, but that hope dwindles each and every day that goes by without the arrests of the principals who attempted to overthrow our great nation. Face it, we’re getting to nut-cutting time. If we’re in the same place in July 2020 as we are today, I believe both the Second American Revolution and Civil War, unfortunately, are… Read more »

Truly, I think The Odor is running the show. He either gets it back or he doesn’t. He isn’t going to do that this way. That place needs pest control. For every rat you see in the open you know there are dozens scurrying around in the woodwork. They are VERY smug. They aren’t working for us and they aren’t working with Trump. He needs to make a big list of who he can trust and install them. He needs to jail the ones he replaced. That Comey would look like Hester Prime if it were up to me. Mueller,… Read more »

I watched Tucker Carlson’s show last week and he had a guest on- can’t remember who now, that said they had seen Trump sign orders ( many) and then the orders were destroyed or never delivered. Can you imagine who’s bad this is? These saboteurs are right in the Oval Office. Now is this incompetence, or is it the right of every president to assume when he signs something he can turn his attention to another matter and know it will be carried out? Surely the latter is true , but if there is someone on national TV talking about… Read more »

Yeah, if he doesn’t see this for himself, someone will tell him about it. He knows. I can’t tell if its an act and I don’t like being chumped.

If he’s for real he HAS to know that more must be done. He has a bunch of leftover Neocons with their own agendas colliding left and right.

That’s not my style. He has to set the direction and the policy and follow up to ensure that its being done. Obviously, that isn’t happening.

Yes! And now the propaganda outlets are paying him and he still has his clearance. That’s not real smart. Does this mean that someone on his staff isn’t even aware of this? Does it mean that they are but didn’t tell him? Does it mean that he knows and doesn’t care? I know that he pays attention to Judicial Watch. They keep talking about the fact that HIS Justice Department, Trump’s, is not forthcoming with documents. Somebody could do something about that with a phone call. Normally all it takes is a casual mention by the President at a meeting… Read more »
