Scott Walker to Obama: Butt-out of our State's Affairs

Politics Wis. Gov. Fires Back at Obama: He Should Focus on Balancing His Own Budget

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” this morning, Wis. Gov. Scott Walker responded to President Obama’s recent comments that Walker’s budget proposal was an “assault on unions.” Walker’s response was a sort of stay-out-of-our-business quip.
“We’re focused on balancing our budget, it would be wise for the president and others in Washington to focus on balancing their budget, which they’re a long way from doing.”
The comments come at about 3:00 minutes below, but the entire interview is worth watching:

Walker‘s comments are especially relevant considering the president’s budget has come under heavy fire since he submitted it on Monday. Even Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner admitted yesterday that spending contained in that budget is “unsustainable.”
Obama needs to get his affairs in order before dictating to state governments how to conduct their business and stepping on those states rights, but hey that’s what tyrannical dictators do.

  1. Just like how he tried to pick a fight with Gov. Brewer in Arizona. It’s amazing that here we are with crumbling stability in the Middle East, food prices rising for the poor around the world, and a looming “government shutdown” in his own backyard – but he has time to criticize states.

  2. So how long before the Comrade Chairman packs off Janet (Reno II) Himmler to arrest one of these wayward governors?
And don’t tell me he doesn’t want to.

  3. I’m just amazed (well not really) at the arrogance of O. Let the states do their own business and focus on what’s going on in DC. Seems he thinks he has the right to tell states what to do and that he has the answers for everything. Glad Walker put him in his place.

  4. Dave I can ghardly wait for Obama to melt down and show who he really is, so that even dems and other idiots won’t be in doubt.

    • Linda, I sadly think Obama could kick a puppy on live TV, and liberals would simply blame the puppy for getting in his way.

      • cd,
LOL – I am trying hard to regain my optimism of old, but the complacency of the stoopid sheeple is rapidly trampling it out of me.

    • Linda,
      I hope so, too.
I just hope people will turn off American Idol and put down their People magazines long enough to notice.

  5. Glad there are now 2 governors who won’t stay silent about the Manchurian Teleprompter’s bad behavior. Wish more sheeple would go online for accurate information or remove their head from their asses to start a revolution.
