Rush just calls em as he sees em. This is rich. Epic Fail for Carbonite

In full disclosure  , I use Mozy, so screw carbonite and any others who follow. 😀
OK, we have a slut that has all kinds of sex and expects the Gov to pay for it.

I’m not judging her, hey what ever. The part about Gov paying is what irks me. So El Rushbo calls her a slut. He apologized and I wish he did not.

So some advertisers pull adds. Now funny part..  Carbonite pulls because, now get this.

“ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:

and now the rest of the story.. LOL———–

Investors flee Carbonite after Limbaugh announcement

On Saturday, Carbonite CEO David Friend released a statement on his company’s website declaring that Carbonite had decided to “withdraw” advertising from Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in the wake of his controversial remarks involving Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke because it will “ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:
Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.
However, it hasn’t done much to contribute to his company’s stock price. Since the market opened on Monday through its close today,
Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.
Can you say oop’s. Love it when a plan blows up in their little PC faces.

  1. One definition of a fluke: a parasitic flatworm that can infect humans and animals. Hmmm…..

  2. Nevere under estimate Rush fans!

  3. wonder if the women of the us even want this woman to speak for them? i cant see a decent woman going along with this

    • No, she does not speak of the women of the U.S., and that is precisely the most offensive part of her demands. No decent, self-respecting, INDEPENDENT, SELF-SUFFICIENT woman would want to be included in the same category with this USELESS PARASITE. This woman is a trained feminist activist who was intentionally planted by Nancy Pelosi for the specific purpose of detracting attention from the UNCONSTITUTIONALITY of Obama’s DICTATORIAL RULING against the Catholic church by turning it into a manufactured cause: a fictitious war against women’s right to control our bodies.
Contraceptives are FREE at any Planned Parenthood clinic, and they are sold for $9 /mo at pharmacies at Target, Walmart, and other large chain drug stores. Condoms are very cheap and do not require a prescription, and there are many other methods of birth control. Last, a woman who does not want to get pregnant for fear of her health has a one time, permanent solution: sterilization. There is a Walmart store at 600 New Jersey Ave., just two blocks away from Georgetown U. Law Center. There is a Target close by, as well as Planned Parenthood clinics.

    • No way, no how. She’s a selfish person. Makes me sick.

    • Hell no she doesn’t speak for all women! It really burns my brisket that ppl keep saying that this is a “woman’s health issue”! (not at all directed at u BlackPowder) 🙂
Leftist keep saying that Santorum does not belong in the privacy of their bedrooms….if they truly felt this way then why the heck are they wanting the AMERICAN PEOPLE in bed w/them? They want Me to pay for their “private” Rodevu without any stipulations! Give them money and don’t have a say in how they spend it! I wish that I could find a Bank that would do that!

    • I wonder if Obama really wants her as a role model for his daughters.

  4. lowtechgrannie

I saw a news story saying that right after Carbonite’s decision was announced, their stock took a 12 point dive. That’s the way the cookie crumbles! LOL

  5. Too funny.

  6. Carbonite’s stock plunges! It is pricelss to watch this unfold. They claim to be offended by this, yet they sponsor the Howard Stern program. Go figure!

  7. Well she does seem like a woman of the night. I think Rush was probably correct in his discription of this person. I use Carbonite right now but I suppose there are other companies out there that provide the same service. I doubt if they were really thinking, when they pulled their ads or they have a horrible marketing ex. Rush just told the truth as he saw it. Dems have said things worse than this about other people so since when to advertisers get so biased?

  8. Limbaugh says he has 3 brand-new sponsors lined up to advertise on his program, and 2 who had canceled are now asking to return. “We are being very careful about that. I’m not gonna give you any names here. One of them is practically begging to come back.”

  9. I think that Rush is better off w/o em! It’s is a way of weeding out the Posers in IMO! I would way rather do business w/someone I respected then w/someone I liked! I would rather BE respected than BE liked! Any business that would fold so quickly, does not deserve my business! Rush may not be liked, but he is respected. You always know where you stand w/ppl like him!

  10. Everyone is so accustomed to the PC standard now that when someone speaks the truth, it seems unusal! Sponsors need to wake up as well.

  11. If calling some names gets rid of those stupid, boring, I heard them 1000 times, slimy lizards and the rest of those national ads that make me sick, then lets start calling some more, Good job Rush, I hope the ones that repeat thier 800 number 6 times go to hell with that damn Ausy lizard

    • Ever heard of a little thing call a “dial”? You can turn it off and lower the volume so you don’t have to be sick and tired any more.

  12. They thought this would count toward “their fair share” of higher taxes on the “1%” just like Warren Buffet got for suggesting it… silly limousine liberals.

  13. That was not an apology. He has been an absolute moron for far too long now, and at last count, has 2 paying advertisers left. It will be a joy to watch this windbag brought down.

    • It just occurred to me that none of you seem to have any idea how birth control works. HILARIOUS. Goodbye Rush.

      • What do u mean that “none of you seem to have any idea how birth control works?” I know exactly how birth control works…..what in sam’s hill does “knowing how birth control works” have anything to do w/forcing Christian organizations to pay for the pill? I am so tired of the left forcing their liberal beliefs down my throat.
Birth control cost an average of 20 bucks a month for someone w/o insurance, and I am sorry you do not agree, but My Freedom of RELIGION is worth FAR MORE THAN THAT! In fact it is NOT for sale! Obviously you think that Freedom of Speech should be thrown in for free.
They are slowly taking our freedoms away, even yours, and you are the one that is too niave to see it. This issue has nothing to do w/using or not using the pill…..this issue is far bigger. But just like liberals always do, they threw out a bone, and the left chased it. Obama knew that to get his agenda accomplished he had to wrap it in a controversial package (Birth Control) And the liberals took the bait……Hook, line, and sinker.
You actually believe that the Right is attacking Birth Control (exactly how they knew you would react)……How I pray that you would please open your eyes.

        • Well, saying someone is having “so much sex” that they need birth control implies that they do not know that the pill is something taken every day, not per sexual encounter. Also, if an employer provides health insurance, they should be required to cover birth control. As it stands, they are required to cover colonoscopies, mammograms and prostate exams per federal and state mandates. Covering birth control saves everyone money, when you think about it (with your head, not your bible).
How does having your health insurance company cover birth control infringe on your religious freedom? Everyone else’s religious freedom depends on you not imposing your religion on them.
Everything is not a liberal agenda. Some things are common sense. I’m sorry you lack that.

          • Jelly Bean…..
            “Imposing my religion on them…”
First of all, I am not Catholic. Second, no one forced these women to get jobs at Catholic Institutions. No one is imposing my religion on anyone, but if I pay for my child to go to a private Christian College, I expect the college to teach Christian beliefs. Unlike you, I do not have that “sense of entitlement” mentality. You obviously feel like everyone else should pay your way thru life. If an employer doesn’t believe in birth control, they should be able to choose whether to provide it or not. If you don’t like it, don’t work there. That is COMMON SENSE. An Employer SHOULD NOT be required to cover anything!
When all of the Employers in the Nation go broke b/c they cannot cover everything you feel like you deserve, you will be glad to just make enough to feed yourself. (did u ever learn about a little thing called the Great Depression?) Don’t use big words like Common Sense when you do not really grasp their meaning.
By the way, the majority of birth control scripts are written b/c of recreational sex. I believe a woman has the right to choose…..she has the right to choose if she has sex or not, she has a right to choose to be on the pill or not, she has the right to ask her partner to wear protection or not…..that is how she chooses to have a baby or not, but it is NOT an employer’s responsibility to pay for that choice. Especially if it goes against everything they believe in. Believe me, I know for a fact, there are other ways besides birth control to help regulate hormones. This is NOT about a woman’s health….just like the majority of abortions are not about women’s health, but more about not wanting to be responsible. Birth control does not protect against STD’s so honestly condoms would save money….common sense!
            And thinking w/your head seems to be getting you far! If u are an example of thinking w/ur head instead of a Bible…..I’ll stick with my Bible, Thank you very much….but I am a Self Employed, 29 yr old who “clings to my guns and Religion”….so what do I know. {Smirk}

          • By the way, do you really think a woman just takes birth control in hopes of getting laid, someday…..come on Jelly! That in itself sounds slutty! Hahaha! We all know it is taken daily, not by sexual encounter, but still, the pill is NOT the biggest issue! Jelly…….COMMON SENSE!

    • “Flaming” liberal? I am liberal because I believe in compassion and understanding. Contraception is a very responsible choice. Except for bible thumpers like you, I suppose. And as far as ignorance goes, I think you guys have that covered. Go ahead and get me banned, it won’t break my heart. I find the level of ignorance, hatred and outright ridiculousness on this site entertaining on one hand and terrifying on the other (terrifying because people actually believe this crap.) Hide behind your interpretation of the bible. That is true ignorance.

      • Santa Claus for grown-ups. Good luck with that.
And yes, compassion and understanding. And protection for the vulnerable against people such as you, who use the bible as a weapon.

        • Not so much.

        • Grouchy, thx for addressing this troll.
Poor soul has much to learn in life, yet I doubt someone with “suicide” in their email address has much to offer us.
Most people that have attempted suicide would not more to do with that word. Compassion is needed for those that have attempted to take their lives. Using that word in your email address is nothing short of disrespectful and juvenile.

  14. Hahahaha…..DCG, you are wonderful with combacks, and thinking on your feet. I have needed to release some pinned up frustration! Thanks Jelly Bean, I needed someone like you to come along.
Bless you! Have a great night! 🙂

  15. Facts are pesky little things…
Prove a negative through a lack of “science”. Prove that the Prophets were wrong.
Dare you..We have an acclaimed Bible thumper who can prove you are wrong. Not that you care…
