Rumor of Israel mobilizing for war

I got this from a friend who is a conservative, a veteran, a former journalist, and prolific professional writer.

He says he can’t vouch for what you’ll read below, but it was sent to him by a former captain in the U.S. Navy, who is “very reliable.” Here’s what the naval officer wrote (note that he wrote this BEFORE the assassination of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and the attacks on our embassy in Cairo and on our consulate in Benghazi):

Subject: Something unusual is happening in Israel

Date: Sept. 11, 2012

Just recv’d this from a good friend in Bel Air, MD

I got this from one of my close friends who has a brother in Israel and believe it 100%. Something is coming.

I don’t know if you follow such things but…

My brother and his family live in Jerusalem – he is a minister – and a former Navy SEAL – his office is close to one of Israel ‘s largest underground military bases.

He called me last night which is very unusual – usually it is email.

He called to tell me that he is sending his family back to the US immediately due to what he is seeing happen within the last week and what he is being told by his military contacts in both the Israel and US military.

He said he is seeing with his own eyes military movements the likes of which he has never seen in his 20+ years in Israel. What he called a massive redeployment and protective tactics of forces is underway.

Over the last two days he has seen anti-aircraft missile deployments throughout the Jerusalem area including 3 mobile units that he can see from his office windows. In addition, he has seen very large Israeli armored columns moving fast toward the Sinai where Egypt has now moved in Armor.

There are reports of the top military leaders meeting with Israel’s senior rabbi which is something that has happened preceding every prior military campaign.

His admonition is to watch carefully and pray for Israel and its people.

He is convinced that barring something extraordinary Israel will attack Iran – with or without the US – and very soon.  It is the belief in Israel that Obama does not stand with Israel but with the Arab countries.

He has told me before that Israel will saber rattle from time to time but that this time is very different from what he is seeing and hearing. He was at the Wailing Wall 2 days ago and there were hundreds of IDF [Israel Defense Forces] soldiers there. As he was leaving he passed at least 20 military buses full of soldiers in route to the wall.

He has never seen this before either.

Just thought I would pass this along.

My brother is not an alarmist by any means.  When he talks like this it gets my attention for sure and usually I find he knows more than he shares.

There are reports that Israel is asking Obama to come to Israel immediately but they are being answered with silence.

My opinion is that I see the making of the perfect storm.

Obama in fact is refusing to communicate with Israel. Reuters reports on Sept. 11, 2012, that “In a highly unusual rebuff to a close ally, the White House said on Tuesday that President Barack Obama would not meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a U.S. visit later this month….”

In so doing, the POS in the White House is deliberately isolating Israel — at a time when extremist Muslims in the Mideast are rampaging, rioting, killing.

Israel is being pushed into a corner.

God help us. Pray!

DEBKA is reporting tonight (Sept. 13) that “In the wake of the anti-US Islamist turbulence sweeping Arab capitals, Israel has posted additional military, police and security forces in the West Bank, opposite the Gaza Strip and among Israeli Arab communities following information received that all three are preparing to stage big anti-American protests Friday, Sept. 14, which could easily spill over into Israel.”

  1. Great Piece. Please feel free to check my blog out and follow @rdrevilo

  2. i pray that we get through the election before Israel makes a final decision to attack.

    • brit, I’m inclined to believe Israel will attack before elections. If Obama is re-elected, Bibi knows Obama will not have their back.

      • DCG, I agree that Bibi knows the POS does not have his back so why not wait to see if Romney (who does have his back) replaces him on November 6th? This is a HUGE decision for Israel and I would think worth deferring for another 7 weeks IF he can; those working with and through The Muslim Brotherhood (see Cairo) may well force his hand.

      • Concur. When Isreal feels they have to act, they act.

  3. Just searching The Jerusalem Post and Haaretz on reading this post, there is nothing reporting unusual troop movements or anything unusual at all.

There is this report in Haaretz though:

U.S. strike on Iran could lead to all-out Mideast war, experts say
The report compiled by former government officials, national security experts and retired military officers is to be publicly released Thursday.

U.S. military strikes on Iran would shake the regime’s political control and damage its ability to launch counterstrikes, but the Iranians probably would manage to retaliate, directly and through surrogates, in ways that risked igniting all-out war in the Middle East, according to an assessment of an attack’s costs and benefits.

The assessment said extended U.S. strikes could destroy Iran’s most important nuclear facilities and damage its military forces but would only delay – not stop – the Islamic republic’s pursuit of a nuclear bomb.

“You can’t kill intellectual power,” said retired Army Lt. Gen. Frank Kearney, who endorsed the report. He is a former deputy director at the National Counterterrorism Center and former deputy commander of U.S. Special Operations Command.

The report compiled by former government officials, national security experts and retired military officers is to be publicly released Thursday. It says achieving more than a temporary setback in Iran’s nuclear program would require a military operation – including a land occupation – more taxing than the Iraq and Afghanistan wars combined.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. (false, hypocritical religion of the devil, not of God)

For they are the spirits of DEVILS, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth (Pope, Presidents, Prime Ministers, CEOs, Super Rich, popular IDOLS of the people) and of the whole world, (the rest of us) to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Middle East-World War III-Armageddon)

Behold, I come as a thief. (when you least expect it while playing games)

Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (derived from Har Mediggo, an actual place located in Israel)
Revelation 16 – Revealed 2000 years ago but seen developing in this real, material world Today!

And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
    Matthew 24:6-13

  4. I will pray for the people of Israel, and for the innocent people worldwide who are in great danger. I will also pray for the majority of Iranians who want desperately to be free of their nightmare government.

  5. Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this post. I also notice that the report is dated September 11th, before the murder of our dear Ambassador Stevens and his staff members. “Ilia iacta est!” When Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon he communicated his desire to take over Rome. “The dye is cast” in this conflict as well! Let us pray for Israel, for the right and for the good, and for God, the Blessed Mother, the angels and the saints to help all of us!

  6. So much is happening on so many fronts now. I too believe something big is about to happen. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!

  7. They have to attack soon…and before u.s.elections…..

  8. This is Obama’s work, he has created this over the last 4 yrs,,,the seeds he has sown are getting ready to bear a harvest of bloodshed…I have watched it happen and called treason over the last 4 yrs, he needs to be held accountable for his crimes. Hillary too.

  9. Update:

DEBKA is reporting tonight (Sept. 13) that “In the wake of the anti-US Islamist turbulence sweeping Arab capitals, Israel has posted additional military, police and security forces in the West Bank, opposite the Gaza Strip and among Israeli Arab communities following information received that all three are preparing to stage big anti-American protests Friday, Sept. 14, which could easily spill over into Israel.”

  10. He acts like Israel is so great. Remember that Israel will strike first not Iran.

  11. Reblogged this on contentconservative.

  12. Regarding to Ray’s blog–so do you honestly think “unsual troop movement” is going to be a storyline in the Jerusalem Post?
I also think Israel is quite able to take care of what needs to be done with Iran. It would be nice to feel they weren’t “alone” when they feel action must be taken, but from past history, have no doubt, they have the intelligence and also ability to do the job or they wouldn’t go for it!
Remember the 1967 war? Or when they took out Sadaam’s nuclear reactor? And, it did set Sadaam waaaaay back on his nuclear ambitions quite effectively, by the way!

  13. Dr. Eowyn,

Do you have any way to find out the SEAL Pastor’s name? I’m one also, there are only a handful of us, and I’d like to reach out to him.

    God bless!

    • Bless your heart, teamscottphillips!

I just forwarded your comment/question (with your email address) to the “professional writer” who had sent me that email, asking him to forward it to the SEAL Pastor. It will be up to the pastor to respond to your kind offer, or not.

      In Christ, †

  14. The fact that Israel allows protests in Tel Aviv at all says something about their tolerance.

  15. andrea hutchinson

And when they /SAY ” Blessed is He who comes In the name of the LORD!”…shall the LORD,GOD of Isreal answer HIMSELF.

  16. Israel has previously said they will wait until Sept 25th to strike. I hope they create an EMP over Iran to knock out all powers systems…

  17. Praying for God to intervene with a earthquake or some other “natural” disaster that will take out the Iranian nuclear facilities.

  18. I just had this forwarded to me by a Christian friend. Unattributed emails are notoriously unreliable, no matter how attuned to current events they seem to be. There’s no doubt about the credibility of those who pass these messages on… merely questions about their source.

I wouldn’t find it surprising to learn this message is genuine. Whether or not it is, I simply pray “maranatha.”

  19. Good luck Israel, proactive rather than reactive is always the way,I believe all free democratic countries of the world should follow suit and look after our citizens rights unless you all fancy reading the Koran instead of the bible!!

    • Steve, I agree. Israel has no choice now and they will certainly be proactive.

I made the following comment on The Jerusalem Post today:

70% of Jews voted to re-elect Obama who is a self-acclaimed Muslim and favors the Muslim Brotherhood; he is no friend of Israel. What’s wrong with you?
