What a good post. I knew of some of these quotes, but not others. I wish someone would articulate freedom & economic liberty as well today

Wise man Reagan was…I doubt with the way politics are today, that we will ever see another man like him in office.
miss him 🙁

A great American whose stature exceeded that of a mere politician…
he was a statesman and a patriot who rose to the call of his country…
to serve the Republic and her people. An example for us all. Moral integrity , kind and gentle humor with resolve and determination that our freedom would be a light for the world and the conviction that our best days were ahead.
Thanks for the reminder…

we need someone like him now, only tougher yet.

Yes I remember this guy. I remember that when he got into office the national debt was 32% of GDP. But when this guy and George H. W. Bush were done with there terms in office the debt was 65% of GDP. Bill Clinton then brought the debt down by 12%. Then George W Bush did the same thing this guy did and when George W Bush Left office the debt was 80% of GDP. These figures come from the CBO. Look it up.

The entire point of my first reply was to see if anyone wanted to have a factual conversation. And yes the debt has gone to 100% of GOP. The point is are people willing find the root problem, and fix the economy. Or are we going to hold onto our Ideology like an anchor while it sinks the whole country. There is enough blame to go around for all of us Democrats ,Republicans and Independents alike.

I am an equal opportunity basher. I am not a Democrat or Republican. I have no party affiliation at all. In the state where I live it’s referred to as Undeclared. Don’t always much time to blog, but I’ll be back

Ronald Reagan was the first president I was old enough to vote for.
I have almost forgotten what it was like to have a real president in the White House, because we haven’t actually had one since
All we managed to come up with was a RINO, a philandering socialist, another RINO, and a flaming commie.
