Pray for the Victims

As President Obama leaves for a trip to Europe, the residents of Joplin, Missouri faced a tornado Sunday that killed at least 24 people.
Gov. Jay Nixon activated the National Guard and declared a state of emergency Sunday night. His office said that state and local law enforcement agencies were coordinating search and rescue and recovery operations in the stricken areas.
This video (more just audio) is a horrific account of a family surviving this disaster.  Brings tears to my eyes just listening to the terrifying event they went through.  Thank God they survived. Prayers for all that perished and the residents of Joplin.

There was a huge funnel cloud that formed right above my daughter’s place in Davenport, Ia. Right above the parking lot where she parks her vehicle. My young granddaughters freaked and my daughter took them immediately inside and their knees hit the floor in prayer. She said that there were 3 of them in the city and they touched down (which is rare). We usually had them in the farmlands and small cities surrounding there as well as traveling the Mississippi River, but never there IN the city!
I don’t know the extent of damage as of yet but Praise my Lord my family is okay! We`ll be keeping the victims in our prayers.

  2. Wow, that was scary.
Those people really thought they were about to die.

Wow! Having only the audio just made it that more intense. God bless them and keep them safe. I read on Drudge more storms are on the way. Rainbow came after the storm.
