Pacific Northwest Snow, Day 6

You getting tired of my pics yet?  🙂
Day 6, homebound.  Power out for a couple of hours this morning.  It’s been snowing here ALL day.  Many areas got an ice storm and trees knocked down, power out.  Suppose to get rain tomorrow but that’s what they said yesterday.  Walked to the grocery store again and went to a friend’s house to visit.  More pics below.

Got 6 inches or so of the white stuff

Beautiful trees, again!

Truck stuck in 7-11 parking lot

Tree down in my friend’s condo complex

Yes, it still looks a lot like Christmas!

  1. Gorgeous pix. Happy to see that you are still celebrating Christmas up there, it’s always for ever coming and then gone in a flash. On the first day…………………………..my true love said to me…………………… and one for the little bitty baby, born born born in Bethlehem……………………………
the angels of the Lord came down, and glory shone around…………………………….sigh………………..

  2. Great photos, DCG. Very pretty out there. We in the north east are glad to be spared so far this winter. Last winter at this time we had been through a month of big snow. I’ve gotten so I only like snow if I can play on it. If I can’t ski, I would rather not have to deal with the stuff.

  3. 7:45 tonight the local news said there are 245,000 customers without power due to trees down and branches falling on power lines.

  4. WOW! The thing about snow is… it is so beautiful to ‘look at’… but to endure the side effects of losing power and the like, is no picnic to be sure DCG… Love the pics! 🙂

  5. ahahahaha….great clip,Grouchy…..
We Northerners laugh at the snow,ha ha ha.
Love the pretty snow pics DCG…I hope your hot-chocolate
    supplies are sufficient

  6. That’s exactly why my car hasn’t left my drive way since Saturday – silly drivers in silly cars + Seattle snow just doesn’t mix well…
Now finally raining and got snow/tree branches falling all around me!
