Out of Time

It’s going-down-the-rabbit-hole time.
Are you ready?

The pic below is posted on the website of the Bralorne Pioneer Museum of Gold Bridge, British Columbia. The photo was taken in 1941 at the reopening ceremony of the South Fork Bridge after a flood in November 1940.
Take a good look at the pic. Do you see anything that’s out of place?

1941 reopening of South Fork Bridge

Who’s that man in the aviator-style shades and silk-screened t-shirt? — in 1941?

Photoshopped? I think everyone would be paying more attention to the weirdo (to them anyway) then a reopening.

It’s Zelig! (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zelig.)
No cyber-stones because of Woody Allen’s involvement in the film, SVP!
I almost fell over when I read about Zelig’s shrink : “…she lifts Zelig’s self-esteem, but much too high…thus he temporarily develops a personality which is violently intolerant of other people’s opinions.”
Ummm….sound familiar, folks?

Personal opinion: I think their web designer is good with Photoshop, and gave himself a cameo appearance, like Clive Cussler’s appearances in his Dirk Pitt novels.

My husband’s a semi-pro photographer: He super-enlarged the photo and also said screen printing’s been around for a while, the method behind the M(ichigan?) shirt under his most decidedly 40s-style jacket. As for the temple pieces, his guess is the man must’ve been a welder and wore those side pieces as added protection in his line of trade. HOWEVER, see https://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread554765/pg1. And comment image. [Play Twlight Zone opening theme music…]
