Oregon Governor Kate Brown (demorat) is threatening more restrictions to the citizens due to the Wuhan virus. From yesterday:
Without giving an exact timeline, @OregonGovBrown threatens more restrictions if disease spread isn't slowed.
She said it could mean closures of bars and restaurants as well as restrictions on travelers.

I looked last night at the Oregon Wuhan virus numbers and guess what you’ll find? A whole lot of NOTHING. Take a look:
Population of Oregon: 4,217,737.
Total Wuhan virus cases: 24,421.
Total deaths: 414.
Total tests: 510,100. Negative tests: 486,9000. Positive tests: 23,156. Total hospitalized: 1,984.
Based on the numbers, percentages and “the curve,” why in the world is this governor threatening to shut down businesses again and mandate that people quarantine?
Read all about her rationale for re-starting restrictions in Oregon and possibly delaying opening schools (until April 2021!) here.
Most states would be perfectly fine with a Wuhan virus positivity rate of 5, 7, 8 or 10 percent. In Oklahoma we’re at a 7.3% positive rate. We’ve been open since May thanks to our republican governor.
Viruses are going to virus. There’s only so much the government can do to control Wuhan.
But as we are seeing, there’s MUCH more demorat governors can do to control the people.
