Obama's Aunt Says US Owes Her Citizenship

Here’s another of Obama’s legacy:

Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango

On top of the millions of unemployed people collecting never-ending benefits, on top of the millions more “poor” people collecting welfare, America has another welfare case — Obama’s Kenyan aunt.
She first came to America illegally 10 years ago but was granted citizenship in May. Auntie Obama has honed the “you owe it to me!” entitlement mentality to the hilt. She lives in public housing, does not work, collects $700 a month in Social Security disability (although she’s never worked and thus had never paid into Social Security), and thinks the United States is “obligated” to give her citizenship.
The Associated Press reports today, Sept. 21, 2010, that Obama’s aunt, the half-sister of Barack Obama Sr., who had lived for years illegally in Boston before being granted asylum this May, said the United States has an “obligation” to grant her citizenship.
Here’s her twisted “reasoning”: Zeituni Onyango told WBZ-TV, “If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen.”
Onyango came to the U.S. from Kenya in 2000 and was denied asylum by an immigration judge in 2004. She was granted asylum earlier this year by the same judge who said she could be in danger if she returned to her homeland.
She said she had intended to return to Kenya but fell critically ill and was hospitalized. When she was discharged, she was penniless and lived in a homeless shelter for two years. She told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview last December that she was paralyzed for more than three months because of an autoimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome and had to learn to walk again. “To me, America’s dream became America’s worst nightmare,” she told the TV station in her first interview since being granted asylum.
It was after her illness, she said, that she was assigned public housing. “I didn’t ask for it; they gave it to me,” she said.
She said she resented being used to attack her nephew, who has never intervened in her immigration case. “Don’t drag my child into it,” she said. She said she feels as if she’s been treated as “public enemy No. 1” since her residency status went public.
Onyango still lives in public housing and collects $700 monthly disability. She doesn’t work, but said she volunteers time at the Boys and Girls Club and with the Boston Housing Authority.
H/t beloved fellow Igor!

As a retired Respiratory Therapist, this is the first time I have ever heard of someone who had Guillaine-Barre who was so bad they were paralyzed…yet made comeback. By the time paralysis hits, they worry about the Respiratory System being able to keep up and keep her blood pH at a decent level. Normal blood pH is 7.35-7.45 anything lower would but her into acidosis and increase her respiratory rate and it would go lower with this syndrome as the paralysis sets in around the respiratory system due to not being able to generate adequate breaths to blow off CO2.… Read more »

Aunt Zeituni is the doppelganger of Aunt Esther from Sanford and Son.
Without a staff of (how many were there, Eowyn?) she still looks better than her niece by marriage, Michelle Obama.

“To me, America’s dream became America’s worst nightmare,” she told the TV station in her first interview since being granted asylum.
If it’s such a nightmare, then get your arse back to Kenya and quit living off the taxpayers! HYPOCRITE.

Patriot Angel, thank you for the invaluable factual information concerning the medical implications of her health issue. It is amazing how the truth enfolds, isn’t it?

yeah spreading the wealth around means that we will all be living in card board boxes. soon the movie the road warrior will be considered a documentary of life in the usa as we all drive around looking for petrol
obamavilles (tent and cardboard hut cities) will dot the landscape as people continue to lose their homes in forclosures even as obama pays bailout money to these very same banks.
