Obama White House in Chaos, Says New Book

Rate this post

A new book hit the market last Tuesday, Sept. 20, which exposes the chaos, incompetence and hypocrisy of Skippy’s White House staff.
The book, Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington, and the Education of a President, is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning Ron Suskind, who was granted remarkable access to the West Wing, including a sit-down interview with Skippy himself.
Zeke Miller of Business Insider reports, Sept 20, 2011, that the book reveals a disorganized — and at times insubordinate — staff working under Obama, and an inexperienced president struggling to control them.

One of the more shocking revelations that leaked last week is that Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is said to have disobeyed an order from Obama to plan to dissolve Citigroup in the aftermath of the financial crisis. Geithner denied the allegations Monday.

Another embarrassment comes from former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, who told Suskind, that “if it weren’t for the president, this place would be in court for a hostile workplace. Because it actually fit all of the classic legal requirements for a genuinely hostile workplace to women.”
Hmm…. What happened to liberals’ professed feminism? Just lip service? (Pun intended. Think “Monica Lewinsky”) LOL
This is what happens when voters send a man with zero, nada, zilch executive experience to the White House.

  1. The confusion is bleeding into our nation and doing a great deal of damage. One would think that with the only work reference on Barack Obama’s resume being Community Organizer, he could at least get it right in the White House.

  2. Thank you, Dr. Eowyn, for this good news! It is very unwise when you are a czar yourself, to appoint other czars as Obama has done. Not only is this imprudent, but it is self-destructive. Fascinating, because narcissism has won out and they are literally destroying each other! I used to listen to testimony in hostile work environment cases on a regular basis. Let me tell you, it is a terrible atmosphere to work in such a place and it is also frightening. I love your humor, Dr. Eowyn and the sarcasm. They have little to no respect for women because the libs adhere to a false “feminism,” one that is destructive and disordered. Truly, evil destroys itself and that is what is happening!

  3. Wonder how this will be spinned… Truth will always come to light, because it is light.

  4. I just got this book yesterday and gave a quick review of my ‘first impressions’
    RON SUSKIND’S “CONFIDENCE MEN”
WHEN I SAID IT “LOOKS TO BE A GOOD READ! ” I WAS RIGHT!
EARLIER I GAVE THE OPENING FIRST 2 PARAGRAPHS, THEN I GOT DISTRACTED AND CAME BACK TO IT LATER..

President Barack Obama dances lightly down the four marble steps to the Rose Garden and across the flagstones to a waiting lectern. He still glides, elegant and purposeful, in that tall man’s short-step- a ballplayer returning to the court after a time-out.
Today, September 17, 2010, he has committed to putting some “points on the board”, in the sports parlance of Rahm Emanuel, his chief of staff. The president needs to show the country that he hasn’t lost his game, the ineffable confidence, the surety of stance and delivery that propelled a man with little political experience to scale cosmic heights and to realize what felt, on Election Day, like democracy’s version of the moon landing.
    ………………………………………………………………………………
SO BACK TO THE ROSE GARDEN:
where Obama has convened a press conference with Elizabeth Warren “standing awkwardly at his hip” to announce the launch of the Consumers Financial Protection Bureau, an agency that Warren had unveiled in an article she published in 2007. The truth is no one much cared for the idea, until her unheeded concerns turned up at the center of the worst financial disaster since the great depression.
So today is a long delayed victory for her — almost. Somehow nothing in the Rose Garden is quite as it seems. The president praises Warren, whom he says he met at Harvard as though they’re old friends — they’re not.
Warren only became a professor at Harvard the year after Obama graduated. In fact, over the past 2 years while Warren has seen herself lionized on magazine covers and in prime time interviews as a leading voice for tough, restorative reforms, the president seems to have been studiously avoiding her. Part of the problem, clearly, is that she has been acting the way people expected and hoped that man from Grant Park would.
NOW HERE IS WHERE IT MADE ME LOL – GO POP SOME CINNAMON ROLLS IN THE OVEN AND GET READY TO SETTLE IN WITH THE BOOK
Warren has caused discomfort not only for the president, but also for his top lieutenants, including “THE BOYISH MAN IN THE TOO LONG JACKET AT OBAMA’S RIGHT HIP, BUNCHED CUFFS AROUND HIS SHOES, LOOKING MORE THAN ANYTHING LIKE A TEENAGER WHO JUST GRABBED A SUIT OUT HIS DAD’S CLOSET……THAT’S TREASURY SECRETARY TIM GEITHNER, looking sheepish….
THE BOOK GOES ON TO REVEAL HOW GEITHNER HAD, THE PREVIOUS FALL ” huddled with top aides to develop what one called an “Elizabeth Warren Strategy”, a plan to engage with the firebrand reformer that would RENDER HER POLITICALLY INERT….which he never could do…..SO what the treasury did do, unbeknownst to Warren, was embrace demands from the banking industry to create a bureau under the condition that Warren would NOT be allowed to lead it……

  5. Tell us something we didn’t know about the den of vipers and Moochelle!
