Like Satan, Democrats simply never sleep and are relentless in pushing their agenda of abortion, gun control, illegal immigration, and ever-bigger government.
Not even when the United States is in the midst of unprecedented monumental crisis because a crisis must never be let to go to waste.
On January 30, 2020, just when the Wuhan coronavirus began to occupy the world’s attention, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), who thought the island of Guam would tip over with 8,000 U.S. Marines, introduced HR 5717, a gun control bill with the sanctinomious name of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020.
HR 5717 would do the following:
(1) Gun license:
- A license is required to purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition.
- Only those 21 years old or older, who have completed training in firearm safety and who are deemed psychologically and behaviorally “suitable,” are eligible for a gun license.
- The license must be renewed every 10 years.
(2) Prohibited from firearm possession are:
- Perpetrators of “domestic violence,” which includes those who engage in stalking, “harassment, intimidation, or surveillance” of the victims.
- Those who have been issued an “extreme risk protection order,” defined as those who pose a danger of causing harm to the petitioner or others by having access to a firearm. “Domestic violence” is a type of “extreme risk”.
(3) The sale, manufacture, import, transfer or possession of semiautomatic assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices are forbidden by law.
HR 5717 has 18 co-sponsors, all Democrats. See their names here.

There is no ‘gun law’ that was not made to be broken.
I see nine of the eighteen co-sponsors are from MA, including Joe Kennedy who wants a NATIONAL shelter-in-place order. Why does that not surprise me? The pistol range I go to is closed because of the “invisible enemy that threatens the freedoms we hold dear”. Whether they realized it or not they were referring to our congressional delegation. Ammo is now very hard to come by, the gun dealer I buy from said he has sold “thousands and thousands and thousands” of rounds in the past couple weeks. People are hoarding it like toilet paper. Now he’s closed too. I’ve… Read more »
Be careful when you go outside…I’ve read many tweets where people say neighbors are now reporting on social media when THEY determine that people are acting inappropriately: Too many kids outside playing together, too many people gathered in their front yard, too many kids playing basketball together, etc. EVERYONE is now so scared so they are becoming neighborhood patrols who want to publicly shame. It’s INSANE…
I recall a story from Stalinist Russia, a guy had a dream that The Leader had died and he woke crying and told his wife about it. She told a friend who told the NKVD. They arrested him for “having an anti-Soviet dream” and they arrested his wife for not denouncing him. It’s not that bad here yet but it could take off very quickly; panic obliterates rationality. I agree with Jon Rappaport, if Trump is going to hit a home run he’d better do it soon. He needs to convene a panel of medical experts who aren’t compromised (there… Read more »
…or they’re out of MONEY.
Toilet paper IS money. It’s the New Gold. Unlike the “money” that the Fed creates out of thin air, the REAL toilet paper
And there’s this in the UK. The Limeys could sure use a little 2A right about now

Here’s the panel of experts I suggested, all ready to go:

I’d like to show them an AR-15 and ask these asshats to show me the following parts they deem make a firearm an assault weapon: Front grip, detachable stock,or barrel shroud.
I’d bet that 90% of these asshats who determined the definition of “assault weapon” would fail that simple test. Then again, they are just using typical Gifford, gun-grabbing terminology they push out to all gun grabbers.
I noticed in the text they list specific manufacturers and their models of ARs. Those BAST^RDS want to ban EVERYTHING. Sorry for my cursing but I’m a little cranky right now… 🙂
I’m totally with you on that!
Obviously, the best way to fight an epidemic is to restrict gun ownership.
The best way to fight a FAKE epidemic is to restrict gun ownership. And ban reusable bags. And keep people apart. And close churches but let abortion clinics and liquor stores stay open. Leftist “logic”
One of the co-sponsors (Danny Davis IL-7) is the Congressman on the west side of Chicago, home to some of the most violent real estate in the country. This is probably a “ploy” on his part to tell the idiot constituents of his, that he’s doing something about it (oh, they’ll believe it all right), but the GOP-led Senate is blocking legislation.
Gwam be tippin over an sheeit, so we gotz ta take yo guns, crackers!
I am Nigga Johnson and I approve this message!
Hank, he fell out dat stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. And they keep “electing” him
HIs harness may not have been secure enough
The Demonrats must be flushed out of control if we want freedom in America.
Agreed, flush them all. But keep Hank for comic relief
