CAIRO – Egypt exploded with joy, tears, and relief after pro-democracy protesters brought down President Hosni Mubarak with a momentous march on his palaces and state TV. Mubarak, who until the end seemed unable to grasp the depth of resentment over his three decades of authoritarian rule, finally resigned Friday and handed power to the military. (AP)

Very pessimistic about this situation. What we have for the moment is a military junta; the question is, how long does it remain that way?
I’m not at all confident that the power vacuum won’t be filled by enemies of America.
But, at least the media is given Barry credit for creating the vacuum. I wonder how long they’ll continue this fantasy.
