Most Americans Don't Want Obama 2.0

NewsMax reports on June 18, 2010, that a new Gallup poll finds a majority of Americans do not want to see Obama reelected.
Gallup says that 51% of the registered voters surveyed say “no,” 46% say “yes” and 3% are clueless, saying they “don’t know.”
What should worry Obama more is the fact that 53% of self-described non-partisan independents say Obama should not win another term in 2012, compared to 43% who say he should. That’s almost a complete reversal of where independents stood on Obama’s election in 2008, when swing vote moderates were the pivotal voting bloc that helped send Obama to the White House.
The defection of independents is part of a larger trend in which moderates have been expressing their dissatisfaction with the Democrats for months, with polls showing the group leaning strongly toward the GOP ahead of this November’s midterm elections.

  1. They’re fudging the polls. I was in on a poll that asked a number of questions about Oslobo and 86% of those polled were negative toward him. That was a Yahoo poll and they are Oslobo lovers.

  2. Anyone Conservative 2012!

  3. I suspect in another 18 months no one will have wanted Obama 1.0 either…

  4. So who do YOU guys want in the White House?
At this point, I don’t give a flyin’ fudgsicle.
I wish the Maverick and the MILF would’ve won, that would REALLY be funny.

    • See, that’s the difference between you and me. I do still give a flyin’ fudgsicle. As for whom I want in the White House. Ask me in 2012 when we know who’s running. But I do know this: I don’t want Obama!
P.S. Just out of curiosity, is your knee acting up again, which makes you cranky? If so, my sympathies!

    • Let’s see, a president that promised a new era of bipartisanship then touted “I won” to republicans, had a $49M inauguration – triple what taxpayers spent at Bush’s first inauguration, releasing CIA and toture memos thereby endangering CIA employees, “I bowled a 129, it was like Special Olympics or something”, bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, saying he wouldn’t have lobbyists in his admin – then making 17 exceptions in the first 2 weeks in office, a failed stimulus package, HCR that the majority of people do not want – that is REALLY funny…
I would rather we had an experienced senator and someone who actually ran a govt agency than the President Vacation we now have…

  5. DCG,thanks for a few of the reminders, this guy is so busy destroying our country on a daily basis, one tends to forget some. We need to remember all of his inexperience, and the total embarassment he has and will continue. I have a feeling he will be incarcerated somewhere by 2012 or he will try and run,but he can’t hide!!!

    • Ah my list could have gone on and on…I’m sure New Yorkers remember the AFO flyover that had people panicking. We’ll have plenty more gaffes for his two year anniversary!

  6. Actually, I think the 46% are more clueless than the 3%.
Not to mention far more dangerous.
