Midweek Devotional: Finding Peace

Isaiah 58:9-14

If you remove from your midst
oppression, false accusation and malicious speech;
If you bestow your bread
on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted;
Then light shall rise for you in the darkness,
and the gloom shall become for you like midday;
Then the LORD will guide you always
and give you plenty even on the parched land.
He will renew your strength,
and you shall be like a watered garden,
like a spring whose water never fails.

  6. Thank you, all. 😀
    Earlier today, I just “happened” to come across an article with this Isaiah quote. Coincidence? I don’t think so! For He is a loving God: “Ask, and you shall receive”

  7. God is love. Love is greater than faith, because it is the means to the end. Empty talk is like clattering cymbals because there’s no love driving it. We can all feel the love flowing from this article. Thanks so much Dr. Eowyn.

  8. Thankyou for that message…u
