Christ over Earth

Psalm 63:2-9

O God, you are my God whom I seek;
for you my flesh pines and my soul thirsts
like the earth, parched, lifeless and without water.

Thus have I gazed toward you in the sanctuary
to see your power and your glory,
for your kindness is a greater good than life;
my lips shall glorify you.

Thus will I bless you while I live;
lifting up my hands, I will call upon your name.
As with the riches of a banquet shall my soul be satisfied,
and with exultant lips my mouth shall praise you.

You are my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I shout for joy.
My soul clings fast to you;
your right hand upholds me.

thankyou Eowyn.

Joseph E Fasciani

I know this may sound foolish to many people [present company excluded, of course!], but as long as I can remember, I ALWAYS say “Thank You, Lord!” for every small grace that comes my way, even when it’s something as tiny as reaching into my carpenter’s pouch and always getting exactly the right number of screws I need, or when shaking out my supplements and vitamins 2X a day and they roll out exactly, or digging blindly in old papers and the needed one “magically” surfaces, etc., etc. We Quakers say that “Coincidence is God’s way of Being anonymous.”

Happy Sunday! May God bless you and protect you today and always.

Thanks Dr. Eowyn.
