Let the GOP Know Who’s Your Choice for 2012

No RINOs !!!!!!!!!!!

Let the Republican Party know whom you want to run for the presidency in 2012. Vote in this poll.

It’s a quick poll, with 10-11 questions.

One of the potential candidates about whom I know very little is Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, who recently announced his candidacy to be the GOP’s 2012 presidential nominee. So I looked him up on Wikipedia. You, too, can find out more about Pawlenty by going HERE.

Pawlenty’s strong suit (in contrast to Herman Cain and Allen West) is that he has executive experience, being in his second term as governor. He also appears to be a social and fiscal conservative. In the end, however, I decided against him because of two main reasons:

  1. Pawlenty was so much a RINO John McCain supporter that he served as a national cochair of McCain’s presidential exploratory committee in 2007, which led to Pawlenty becoming cochairman of McCain’s presidential campaign in 2008.
  2. A 2011 white paper by the Club for Growth, analyzing Pawlenty as a presidential candidate, found his political stance difficult to identify. The group praised him for reduced growth in spending and taxation, but found that he “has some simply inexcusable tax hikes in his record” and questioned his support of proposals such as “mandatory vegetable oil in gasoline, cap and trade, and a statewide smoking ban.” Chris Edwards, a director at the libertarian thinktank, Cato Institute, speculated that Pawlenty’s rightward tack in his second term was related to his impending presidential run.

Go vote for your choice to be the GOP’s nominee in 2012! CLICK HERE.

Do it now, because the poll ends on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

H/t beloved fellow Tina.

  1. Eo,I tried this and it would not work. I was excited about this, because as everyone knows all of the polls shown on tv are being held up by someone. This came from a tea party nation friend.

  2. Dennis Kolb Sr.

The two current political parties have lead us so far from a Constitutional Election that if most Americans were ever involved in one they would think they were voting in a foreign government election!……….Case and Point:-IN 1804 WHEN THE TWELFTH AMENDMENT WAS ENACTED,WE VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT ON TWO,(2), SEPARATE BALLOTS, ONE FOR PRESIDENT AND ONE FOR VICE-PRESIDENT!….PRESIDENTUAL AND VICE-PRESIDENTUAL CANDIDATES COULD RUN FOR EITHER OFFICE AT THE SAME TIME;(THEIR NAMES COULD APPEAR FOR BOTH POSITIONS IN THE SAME ELECTION)!..IN 1824 FOUR (4), RAN FOR PRESIDENT AND SIX,(6), RAN FOR VICE-PRESIDENT!..TWO,(2), OF THE FOUR,(4), THAT RAN FOR PRESIDENT ALSO RAN FOR VICE-PRESIDENT IN THAT ELECTION!..ALSO, ALL CANDIDATES FOR BOTH POSITIONS WERE FROM WERE FROM THE “SAME PARTY”!..VOTERS ONLY VOTED ONCE!!!!……..”NO PRIMARIES!”…..
DOES ANY OF WHAT I JUST DECRIBED TO YOU SOUND FAMILIAR TO YOU?………
IT WAS ALL TAKEN FROM “OUR GOVERNMENT’S” HISTORICAL RECORDS!

  3. Why was the poll trying to lead me to a VERY limited choice of idiots for candidates? None of the big names on the list of GOP candidates except for Chris Christie are anything but incompetent, RINO’s, frauds at everything else, or worse. The other thing that people are getting off track with is this thing about ignoring Congress. The election of the crooks running for Congress is much more important than anything else you can do in the voting booth. Please…start thinking or we are doomed.

  4. On the other hand, there’s this.

  5. Any non-RINO.
