Thanks for bring this to our attention TD. Looks like something really worth watching. I ‘d say I watch about one movie every two years- there just isn’t much that is worth watching. I am not a sci-f i or fantasy fan so I never read Tolkien’s work, and I couldn’t’ get into the darkness of the Lord of The Ring movies. However I find that I am utterly fascinated with the creative process of people like Tolkien. Having seen the Wizard of OZ at least 20 times it was obvious to me as an adult what Baum was referring to in ” the man behind the curtain”, but I didn’t know enough about Lord of the Rings or Tolkein’s Oxford days to know he was there with Milners’ buddies. Thanks for that interesting factoid and link. I have also heard that Baum was part of the club and not warning anyone, but reveling in the obvious including the whole Rainbow symbolism of Mind Control even though it didn’t exist quite as we know it today.
