TDS-infected Jim Carrey…a sad and bitter “artist”

Someone needs to get a healthier hobby. Or up his meds.

From Hollywood Reporter: “Trump is a melanoma,” Jim Carrey said Sunday during a panel discussing his art and political activism.

The actor-turned-artist railed against President Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and other Republican politicians during a conversation at Vulture Fest in Los Angeles, during which he also called his assistant mid-panel to post his latest political painting — a portrait of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as a turtle (“which unfortunately for him now is not protected,” Carrey said) with a blue wave crashing behind him.

Carrey called him “incredibly dangerous, a threat to homeland security. And now he has the nerve to come out a couple of days ago and ask for bipartisanship.” He added, “These are not people you can deal with. You cannot be bipartisan with a criminal. A rapist needs to be removed, not negotiated with. These people are raping our system, they’re destroying it right in front of us. …This corrupt Republican congress that was…These people have to be removed from our system because they’re bad for us. Trump is a melanoma, and anybody that covers for him, including Sarah Sanders, is putting makeup on it. It shows that there’s a deeper problem in this country, and that problem is greed.”

(FYI: Carrey is worth $150 million. Such a greedy man to hoard all that wealth.)

Other musings included the revelation that Carrey broke down after Aretha Franklin’s death: “The day Aretha Franklin died I cried that someone so beautiful and so incredibly conscious and someone who’s done so much to lift the spirit of people has to close her eyes on a world like this. It’s a fucking injustice. It shouldn’t happen. I can’t stand it. I can’t take it.”

Speaking out against the Christian right, Carrey added, “I think they’re going to find out once and for all that the Christian right has never been about morality, it’s been about holding on to power and using morality to do so.”

Of his desire for a Beto O’Rourke/Kamala Harris Presidential ticket, Carrey said: “I think she’s fantastic, I think he’s an incredible guy, and I would love to vote in this decade for someone that’s not the lesser of the evils.” (For the record, he thinks Hillary Clinton would be a good president, however, “I believe she knows what she’s doing but the fact that people are conflicted about her, whether it’s right or wrong, is a problem and will lose votes.”)

In addition to the one he posted, Carrey went through several of his other paintings, including one of Mike Pence (“It’s truly the face of insincerity”), one of Donald Trump crucifying Jesus (“I just thought of every…selfish word he said as another nail in the cross of Jesus”), a Halloween drawing of Donald Trump as a cyclops (“To me the right is a cyclops, it sees in [one dimension] — what can I see, what can I have?”), former EPA chief Scott Pruitt (“He’s a vampire and that’s all”), and Rudy Giuliani (“A guy that doesn’t have presence of mind enough to dye the bottom teeth. His mouth is the whole administration in a nutshell”).

He also discussed his painting of Colin Kaepernick that commended Nike for supporting the former pro football player. “I wanted to encourage an act of goodness,” Carrey explained, saying he didn’t necessarily mean to endorse Nike’s business practices. “We have to encourage goodness, that’s how we get more goodness.”

He continued, “The African-American community has incredible grace in the face of this cancerous hate. They’re unbelievable. I don’t know how they haven’t burned this country down.”

(Hey, BLM already tried to burn down Baltimore. How did that work for the citizens of that city?)

  1. ICE needs to haul this evil moron back to Canada!

    • Maryaha . . . . Amen to that! It is incredible that a “foreigner” can run off at the mouth in the manner that this POS does. Furthermore, who in their right mind would purchase his pieces of “art?”

    • “ENUFF” said!!! Exactly what I was going to say! And take his trashy political cartoon art with him. See if it sells in Canada….no matter who he thinks he is……he’s NOT an artist….he’s a political cartoonist.. Dime a dozen. Well, maybe he traded one career for another….even up.

  2. Jim Carrey’s mind has all the beauty, grace, coordination and aplomb of a dissected fetal pig. But he can act.
Seriously: Carrey’s rants really do sound like the ravings of someone in the tertiary stages of syphilis.
    Go Figure….

  3. When Jim Carrey stuck to his comedic guns he was a sharpshooter; however, remarks such as these –plus his anguished soul breaking out on his face– I think clearly show the man is working his way through severe spiritual, mental, and emotional crises. I hope he comes to his senses and develops some religious insights to get him through his problems.

  4. As shown in his portrait, Jim Carrey isn’t just a canceorus tumor, he’s demon possessed:

  5. Jim so woked! Carrey/Waters 2020!

  6. He is as bizarre as his paintings. He is so jealous of the President for his accomplishments and owing nothing to NOBODY, that, they can’t stand. You name it, He’s being there and done that, they sure don’t belong in the president’s inner circle and they just cant take it.

  7. Carrey has some serious mental issues, probably since he was younger and better equipped to handle them. He’s older and at the stage where self reliance is weaker. The truth is a fixation upon a public figure is not uncommon. It becomes easier to despise that figure than to deal with the internal issues. He’s headed for a bad end.

  8. Years ago I enjoyed “Dumb and Dumber,” but now that Jim Carrey is a “star,” he thinks all his opinions are made of gold. A man is tested by the praise he receives, and Jim’s not testing well.

  9. Jim Carrey is passé, he can never act these days and please don’t encourage him by calling him an artist.
He is on a downhill slope to suicide. He has guilty thoughts of the death of a former girlfriend.
I expect something in the near future, he is that unhinged.
