"I Still Believe" – America's children thank our military

The children of Tussing Elementary School in Colonial Heights, VA, sing this song, composed by music teacher Michael Souders, in honor of America’s soldiers, both veteran and active.
If you don’t tear up at the 1:00 mark at the sound of the chorus of little voices, then you’re made of tougher stuff than I.

Nearly 5 years ago in February 2010, FOTM posted this other song, composed by Mr. Souders, of children singing “Thank you, Soldiers.”

Here’s a pic of Souders and the students singing “Thank You, Soldiers,” at the Veterans Day Memorial Service in Colonial Heights on November 11, 2010. Many members from the Colonial Heights community came out to honor the veterans. After the song, the veterans presented Mr. Souders and the Tussing fourth grade students with a certificate of appreciation. The YouTube video for the song has been visited more than 1.5 million times.

It’s heartwarming to see these children honor our great country and the men and women who keep it that way!!! Thank you, Mr. Souders!
