With the widespread availability of cameras and video-cams, we are finding things out about animals that scientists don’t even know.
In the GIF below, a bird that appears to be a European starling picks up a morsel of food. First, the bird offers it to its housemate, the cat. Then, the bird lovingly feeds the morsel to its housemate, the dog.
European starlings are considered pests in the United States. But they are highly intelligent, social, love to take baths, and are perfect mimics.
