Letter to Obama From 40 House Members

Last November 10, in a speech in Jakarta, Indonesia, the smartest man in the world Barack Obama misidentified the U.S. national motto. He said, “In the United States, our motto is E pluribus unum – out of many, one,” comparing it to the motto of Indonesia, “Bhennika Tunggal Ika — unity in diversity.”

America’s national motto, of course, is “In God We Trust,” and has been since 1956, when it was changed from E pluribus unum.

You didn’t hear about Obama’s mistake from the MSM, but bloggers did notice it, including the Fellowship.

Now, 40 members of the U.S. House of Representatives have written a letter pointing out his mistake. These good men and women hail from the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Carolina, Tenessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington.

Tony Rollo received a copy of the letter in relation to his position of Editor-In-Chief of American Liberty Magazine.

What a great New Year’s Day present! Way to go, Congresspersons!
