How’s that gun control working in Washington state after stricter laws implemented?

At the end of May this year I did a blog post entitled, “How’s that gun control working in Washington State since new laws were passed?”

I outlined how presidential candidate demorat Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bunch of new gun control laws on May 7 claiming that they would “improve gun safety overall.”

The new laws included:

Statutory law prohibits firearms to persons under 21 years of age.

Police may temporarily seize guns from people a judge deems a threat to themselves or others.

In November 2018, voters approved I-1639 that includes increased background checks, firearm safety training, waiting periods before semiautomatic assault rifles may be purchased or delivered, and require certain secured firearm storage or trigger-locks, and criminalize certain firearm storage if it results in unauthorized use.

Of course these laws did NOTHING to stop criminals. As I noted in my post, “Seattle had more than one reported shooting a day somewhere in the city during the month of May; two of those incidents resulted in death.”

Guess the criminals missed the memo because gun violence continues in Washington state:

Deputies increase patrols in White Center after ‘insane number of bullets’ fired

Police: Man shot multiple times in Capitol Hill

Seattle police investigate shooting near Cal Anderson Park

Two injured, home hit by gunfire in separate weekend shootings in Bellevue

Five killed, 2 in custody in Washington state shootings

Road rage incident leads to shooting in Mill Creek

1 person hurt, 2 detained in midday shooting in downtown Seattle

One dead, man in custody in Redmond shooting

Typical Lefty stage one thinking. I’d swear that lefty politicians must sit around passing the joint when they come up with their ideas. They’re tossing pasta at the fridge door to see what sticks. The pisser is that it’s all politically calculated and motivated, “Sounds great, this will boost my polls by a percentage point, run with it!” If they’d give their ideas a bit more thought we’d be saved a lot of aggravation.

“GUN CONROL” is code for PEOPLE CONTROL. Typical of all communist regimes, disarm the masses, and then kill the masses.
Which would be a better victim, one with a gun, or one without?
Only the insane would go for outlawing guns.

Isn’t it funny how few times we hear about the ineffectiveness of this on TV? This does not, nor has it ever, had anything to do with crime. This is about parasite safety. The more outrageous they become, the more paranoid they get. The Odor has told them that we’re “overdue”. They are going to keep pushing this unless we stop them cold. We don’t stop them cold be equivocating. We should remind ourselves that we do not have to make excuses for what we HAVE. Said another way, we do not have to convince them that we “need” our… Read more »

The truth is that they absolutely don’t care. They are doing what their owner’s tell them to do. They don’t care who lives or dies or if this has anything at all to do with it.

“Safety” is the chosen vehicle to “sell” this idea. It doesn’t make ANY sense no matter how one looks at it. The only possible answer is NO.
