False Prophecy

Hint: November 7 announcement that we will have blackout in 6 days. Today is November 26. (Do the math)

“You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.”
– Deuteronomy 18:21-22 (NIV)

Just follow this rule of thumb, and you won’t lose as much time (as I have) nervously watching the crazies on Youtube. 😀

  1. Hey, left/liberal Democrats, have any input on this on?

  2. That self-proclaimed prophet Ben Timetraveller who posted that video on YouTube must be jet-lagged from all his “time travels”. LOL

  3. Here is a good book on prophets/false prophets by John Bevere:
“Thus Saith the Lord? by John Bevere”

  4. Here is another post that you might like to read:
    “A Prophetess from Minnesota”

  5. Tim, you remind me that, even when we are surrounded by false prophets, we need to allow the Lord to send a real one on occasion.
