How to have no fear of bad news

Terrifying-News

If the news is eating your peace
you can find relief

Psalm 112 (NIV)

Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who
        fear the Lord,

        who find
        great delight in his commands.

Their children will be mighty in the land;
        the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
        and their righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
        for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
        who conduct their affairs with justice.
Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
        they will be remembered forever.
They will have
        no fear of bad news;

        their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
        in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
        their righteousness endures forever;
        their horn will be lifted high in honor.
The wicked will see and be vexed,
        they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
        the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Fear the Lord, and your other fears will shrink.

  1. Amen, amen, amen… My heart needed this calming message this morning. Thank you!

  2. I study the New World Order on the internet for hours every night, and I’ve been doing so since 2009. Believe me, there is more than enough bad news to drive anyone crazy. And it will drive you crazy, IF you let it. It really is “fear porn.”
    So I have been listening to alternate sources of news within the alternate news. I have found Hagmann & Hagmann, father & son investigative team to be a great source of hope. I have also found Alex Jones to balance his reporting—he just doesn’t dump bad news; He looks for the silver lining.
    I would suggest that people keep scouring the internet, while we still have it, and burn some CD’s of important broadcasts (e.g., prepping) while we still have it.

  3. In a world gone stark raving mad, it’s good to have a reminder from time to time of Who is really in charge…..and its not Barack Hussein Obama or anyone in that power hungry club.
