Hot Mic Burns Sarkozy and Dear Ruler at G20

Via (highlights are mine):
French President Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly told US President Barack Obama that he could not “stand” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that he thinks the Israeli premier “is a liar.”
According to a Monday report in the French website “Arret sur Images,” after facing reporters for a G20 press conference on Thursday, the two presidents retired to a private room, to further discuss the matters of the day.
The conversation then drifted to Netanyahu, at which time Sarkozy declared: “I cannot stand him. He is a liar.” According to the report, Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!”
The remark was naturally meant to be said in confidence, but the two leaders’ microphones were accidentally left on, making the would-be private comment embarrassingly public.
The communication faux pas went unnoticed for several minutes, during which the conversation between the two heads of state – which quickly reverted to other matters – was all but open to members the press, who were still in possession of headsets provided by the Elysée for the sake of simultaneous translation during the G20 press conference.
The surprising lack of coverage may be explained by a report alleging that reporters present at the event were requested to sign an agreement to keep mum on the subject of the embarrassing comments.
You will find the entire story here.
Barack Hussein Obama’s treatment of one of our staunchest allies has been nothing short of abysmal – even more so than his rude slap at the British shortly after taking office by returning the bust of Winston Churchill. Obama has taken every opportunity to disrespect, humiliate and belittle Mr. Netanyahu, and I believe his actions to have been deliberate – not to mention very telling.
I am of the belief that the Dear Ruler is chomping at the bit for a chance to throw Israel under the proverbial bus at his earliest opportunity. He has done much to help remove several moderate Arab leaders in the region, and is looking to help get rid of others, thus paving the way for the installment of true-believing Islamists who have only one near-term goal, and that is the total destruction of Israel as a nation.
We know they will ultimately fail, but not before that tiny nation of God’s chosen people goes through what will quite literally be Hell on Earth.
I hope for the sake of his country that Benjamin Netanyahu is the man I think he is, because I really do not know if when the time comes and the Israelis find themselves with their backs squarely against the wall, America can be counted on to come through – particularly if Obama is still POTUS and CiC.
Given our current place in history, the normal life span of free republics, our alarming recent accelerating national decline coupled with the apparent rise of Russia, China and Iran, I have really begun to wonder of late if the sole reason America was brought into being was to make the world safe for the reclamation of Israel for the third time.
As such, I consider 1948 to be the most significant year of the 20th Century – if not perhaps the most significant year in all of recorded history.

  1. I’m quite sure Netanyahu is prepared to do what it takes to defend his country. And he probably already knew what kind of relationship he’d get w/Skippy. Pray for Israel, and our nation, if Skippy is re-elected….

  2. You can bet I’m sending this one out! Thanks, Dave

  3. Obama and Sarkozy are both weak! Today’s comments about Obama’s disdain for Netanyahu should be evidence enough for American Jews that their president has no interest in helping Israel.
What surprises me is the number of self-hating Jews who continue to support a president and his party who has the interest of the Palestinians at heart and who hold Israel in such low regard. It’s time for American Jews to walk away from the democrat party and work with Republicans to advance the interest of Israel.

  4. What is it going to take for the American people to understand the crucially ‘dire’ consequences if this continues?
The sheeple need to wake up… if not…we know the ‘alternative’….
I realize Israel can hold their own… their ‘complete’ destruction is not to be…BUT who and what countries go down in their bids to ‘try it’ IS the question….

  5. Such class on the part of these two heads of state! Gossiping about Prime Minister Netanyahu behind his back, like two schoolgirls bitches.
It’s also good to know that Nicolas Sarkozy is one of those self-hating Jews.

  6. GF – Ditto!
