The mark of good character is if you treat well precisely those people whom you don’t have to treat well.
I’ve heard rumors that Hillary Clinton, when she was First Lady, ordered people not to speak to or even look at her as she passes down the hallway.
Now a retired Secret Service agent is confirming her royal bitchiness.
Simon Tomlinson reports for the Daily Mail, March 8, 2012, that in his newly published autobiography, Within Arm’s Length: The Extraordinary Life and Career of a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service, Dan Emmett broke with tradition and laid bare the inner workings of the White House.
Emmett describes Mrs. Clinton, now Secretary of State, as treating the Secret Service like hired help, never saying “thank you” to agents, unlike her husband, Bill, and their daughter, Chelsea.
That’s the same Secret Service agents who are prepared to take a bullet for the President.
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told the Washington Examiner: “It causes concern because we don’t want to erode the trust that we have with our protectees.”
