Hahahahaha: Replies to Rashid Tlaib’s SOTU tweet are priceless, and not in a good way for her

Congress critter Rashid Tlaib from Michigan had a temper tantrum last night (you know, the one that’s been going on for over three years now) and walked out of the SOTU. Her tweet:

“I walked out of that speech. The lies, the bigotry, and the shameless bragging about taking away food stamps that people depend on to live—it was all beneath the dignity of the office he occupies. Shame on this forever impeached president.”

The best part? You should read the replies: At least 95% of them did not go the way she expected. The replies ranged from “still your President,” “Acquitted forever,” “best SOTU ever,” to “no one missed you.”

The best reply that I read: “This is it right here… They want you on food stamps… They want the control.”

Read the replies here. I bet you’ll get through more of them than she will! And it will definitely give you hope that many, many folk are tired of her and her socialist #Squad.

Rashid was just hashing typical-demorat talking points. The extremely low unemployment rate has led to more Americans working and being able to provide for themselves. The portion of President Trump’s speech about food stamps:

“In just over two years since the election, we have launched an unprecedented economic boom — a boom that has rarely been seen before. We have created 5.3 million new jobs and importantly added 600,000 new manufacturing jobs — something which almost everyone said was impossible to do, but the fact is, we are just getting started. Wages are rising at the fastest pace in decades, and growing for blue collar workers, who I promised to fight for, faster than anyone else. Nearly 5 million Americans have been lifted off food stamps.

Heaven forbid Americans get to work instead of relying on government to provide for them. That’s not the American democrat way!

This is a good indication of how effectively the left has mangled the demographics in certain strategic districts. Tlaib has no broad-based appeal, on a national level she would be kicked to the curb or laughed off the stage. Her only appeal is to her local gimme-dependent base. She is a treasonous POS and really should be deported. If she stays here she should be required to change her name. Rashid Tlaib is not an American name. And it is unpronounceable

DCG, it’s sad that we have socialist creatures like this in Congress. That being said, there was much fantasy in Teump’s speech. He spoke as if the economy was just fine. This is pure fantasy. We have a lot of minimum wage jobs, basically creating wage slaves. And all of those manufacturing jobs coming back to America? This is an outright fabrication. What we have right now is a very fragile bubble economy based on easy credit and low interest rates. This house of cards will all come crashing down one day.

I would be willing to bet that the majority of people in the world today would be willing to risk everything for the chance to be a “wage slave” in the US. But then the majority of people in the world today have never made a phone call. Our prosperity is illusory if assigned a monetary value because the money we use is worthless. It’s just numbers backed by (redeemable in) nothing of tangible value. Construction on the house of cards began in 1913 and yes it will all come tumbling down one day. In the interim we paper over… Read more »

Who are you saying is full of shit, Alma…me? If so, explain yourself, and give details, instead of taking such a cheap shot. I’m surprised DCG (or whoever) let your childish cheap shot come through the pipeline. Don’t act childish, explain yourself.

Yes, I addressed that to YOU. I’m sure you have heard the phrase “silence is golden – I neither have to explain nor I owe any details whatsoever to YOU. I possess a gold mine specially when it comes to baseless opinions. Furthermore, I need no one to admonish me for my opinions, whether written or spoken, just like You I live in a free country and this platform does not censor anybody, that’s why your opinion was published. Because you are the wise owl I hope you take heed and don’t let the house of cards fall on you.

And Alma is unaware of the definition of civil, a minimal observance of social requirements. Mr Owl made some valid points – that the country is drowning in unpayable debt, that “the economy” is a house of cards (it is) – that she didn’t like so she called him full of shit. A point-by-point refutation isn’t necessary but civility is. She’s entitled to her opinion of course but her response was worthy of a leftard. We say things they don’t want to hear and they call us haters, deniers, whatever. But we expect that from them, they have nothing else.… Read more »

“In FOTM world some commenters are more equal than others comrade. But, not my world, not my blog. Adios”

I am stunned that this is your conclusion, generalizing from this one incident to trash all of us, on the basis of which you have declared your departure from FOTM. Wow.

To be fair, you should also ask “Wise Owl” for the facts on which he based his assertions and opinion.

“Two world wars, three monstrous dictatorships-in Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Red China-plus every lesser variant of devastating socialist experimentation in a global spread of brutality and despair, have not prompted modern intellectuals to question or revise their dogma. They still think that it is daring, idealistic and unconventional to denounce the rich. They still believe that money is the root of all evil-except government money, which is the solution to all problems.” – Ayn Rand

@”Wise Owl”:

While I wish Alma had not resorted to an insult, you however did exactly what you accused Alma of doing — namely, you neither explained yourself nor give details. Instead, your original comment was a litany of factual ASSERTIONS, for which you provided ZERO actual evidence to back up your assertions, which renders your comment a mere statement of your OPINION. Just as Alma’s response to you was a statement of her OPINION about your comment.

To the commenter who calls himself “Wise Owl: Your comment is a litany of ASSERTIONS, with not a smidgen of evidence or source citation. You claim that “And all of those manufacturing jobs coming back to America? This is an outright fabrication.” It took me 5 seconds to find this on the internet: “In the first 21 months of the Trump presidency, nonfarm employment grew by a seasonally adjusted 2.6%. In the same period, manufacturing employment grew by 3.1%, reversing the trend under Obama when overall employment grew faster than employment in the manufacturing sector. Comparing the last 21 months… Read more »

” We have a lot of minimum wage jobs, basically creating wage slaves.” You’re right about that, and that’s been the case for years. As a matter of common sense,we don’t pay workers just getting into the job market the same as workers who have “paid their dues”,worked min. wage long enough to learn the ropes, become proficient at their jobs THEN move on to higher paying, more challenging jobs, leaving the min. wage jobs to OTHERS who are just starting to join the employed. THAT is why there are minimum wage jobs. What does it do to our economy when people with little… Read more »

Well, they claim he tried to abuse power in order to influence an election — just like we know Hillary and the DNC DID do vs. Trump (the dossier). And they claim he did pretty much exactly what we KNOW Biden did by denying the exact same country military aid (although more than twice as much $) unless that country did his bidding. Yet NEITHER Democrat was prosecuted or even censored. Nor even spoken of. They just ignore Hillary’s crime, and say (without any proof) that Biden’s crimes were debunked. And the MSM just accepts it. In both instances, the… Read more »

Why can’t we amend the Constitution to say that anyone who wasn’t born here or on an overseas US military installation can run for or hold federal, state, or judicial office? And the same for dual citizens. Don’t get me wrong. I’m most certainly not anti-immigration – But what I am is pro-legal immigration. And I’m all for said immigrants becoming citizens as all four of my grandparents did. And no, that doesn’t make me “racist”, as what I propose would apply to Canada, Great Britain, and for that matter Iceland as well, which are all majority Caucasian. I just… Read more »
