Oh my thank you for sharing this DCG! Cats! They are so amazing. This story reminds me of Bob the Cat who wouldn’t leave and adopted James Bowen, an ex drug addict living on methadone and public housing without much hope that his life would be any better. Bob the saved his life.

All the residential programs I worked in had cats. One was pure white so of course they named him “Spot”. Another one was Bob, an orange cat with no tail. He took turns living with the different residents. Bob was more therapeutic for them than all the meds they took combined

Dean sounds Scottish. How would he get Nala into the British Isles with their pet-quarantine policy?

My new best buddy sailed right through customs here and is now king of the house… 🙂 But yeah, if the pet’s documentation… Read more »

I tried to insert a link to the USDA’s article about pet passports, so I’ll just paste it here: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel/by-country/eu/pet_travel-european_union_pet_passports

Both of our cats were foundlings that were rescued. They are such good company and therapy. Animals love without condition and are so much better than many people.
