Gun companies that will not sell to govt

original assault rifleH/t FOTM reader Joan W.

This is a follow-up to Steve’s post of Feb. 22, 2013, on gun manufacturers refusing to sell to government agencies.
There is a neat website called The Police Loophole that has a list of companies that have taken the step to publicly announce that they will not sell items to states, counties, cities, and municipalities that restrict their citizens rights to own them. In so doing, these companies are closing the “police loophole”.
What is the police loophole?
As explained on the website:
“There are some states, counties, cities, and municipalities in our great nation that fail to allow their citizens to fully exercise their right to keep and bear arms with restrictions such as magazine capacity or types of firearms that are widely available to citizens of other states, counties, cities, and municipalities. However, these government entities do not place these restrictions upon their own employees, such as police officers. It is important to note that we are against gun control; we are not against any particular government agency or individuals.”
Here’s Police Loophole’s list of the “nice” companies:

Police loophole? Why not a military/reservist/retiree loophole, too, like with switchblades (you know, knife “assault weapons”) eh? Military/reservists/retirees aren’t trustworthy? Guess not for some places– must be not unionized enough and too into the Constitution for ’em.

P.S. Like the picture… says much.

Everybody who sells anything, should refuse to sell to any government agency or employee. A town in California did this a few years ago to US Forest Service (I think) and the government employees got so scared, they stopped wearing uniforms or driving government vehicles.
Government uses OUR products and services to destroy America. Goverment employees personally, use OUR money to screw us personally.
So, just stop serving them.

Do not stop with states police, extend the same policy to Federal Marshells, FBI, and any other Federal Agents that require hand guns or other weapons to do their job.

Need to get the gun manufacturers on board with this too.

Just saw this tonight… Seems the big daddy Italian “godfather” Beretta himself is not pleased by Maryland’s attempt to cramp their style: 2/24/13:  “‘Berettas Don’t Bluff’: Major Gun Company Threatens to Leave Maryland Over New Gun Control Proposals”: There are 440+ comments of people from all over begging Beretta to move to their states (SC, WV, TX, FL, UT, etc.) But the article says it would be a monstrous expense to move the huge machinery & chrome vats used to manufacture the weapons. The big boss & atty were supposed to meet w/MD govt. officials today (Monday 2/25/13) re… Read more »
