Greta Thunberg stranded in the US after climate summit moved

LOL.

From Yahoo: Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has been left stranded in the US following the relocation of the COP25 Climate Change Conference from Santiago, Chile, due to political unrest.

The Swede – who sailed from Plymouth to New York in August en route to the UN Climate Action Summit, a perilous but carbon-neutral journey undertaken on a solar-powered racing yacht – is now appealing on social media for a ride back across the Atlantic to mainland Europe, the summit having since been moved to Madrid, Spain, to avoid the violent demonstrations currently ongoing in South America.

“As #COP25 has officially been moved from Santiago to Madrid I’ll need some help,” Ms. Thunberg tweeted from Los Angeles. “It turns out I’ve traveled half around the world, the wrong way:) Now I need to find a way to cross the Atlantic in November… If anyone could help me find transport I would be so grateful.”

Prior to her address at the UN on 23 September – where she berated world leaders for their collective failure to address the effects of global warming – Ms. Thunberg met Barack Obama, appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and gave some equally forthright testimony to Congress, imploring senators to “listen to the scientists” when it comes to drawing up green legislation.

She has since crossed the Midwest by train and in an electric car borrowed from actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This week, she met another Hollywood star with environmental credentials, Leonardo DiCaprio, who hailed her as “a leader of our time”, addressed another climate rally in Los Angeles and appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she repeated her contention that meeting with US president Donald Trump would be “a waste of time”.

“I don’t understand why I would do that. I don’t see what I could tell him that he hasn’t already heard. And I just think it would be a waste of time, really,” she told the host, five weeks after Mr. President Trump sneered at her UN speech and a photo of her glowering at him from the sidelines went viral.

Another Hollywood legend and fellow activist, Jane Fonda, has meanwhile expressed concern for the teen’s welfare, given the intense media scrutiny she remains under. Ms. Thunberg herself credits her diagnosis with Asperger’s syndrome for helping to shield her from the pressure and has rubbished suggestions her popularity is being exploited.

“I worry about her, yes, I do. I have not met her, I hope one day to meet her,” Ms. Fonda told the BBC. “She calls her Asperger’s her superpower, and I think that she’s right. She understands that if she’s attacked it’s because she’s making a difference, and that scares people.”

Greta Thunberg herself said so explicitly in the wake of Mr. President Trump’s attack on her, denouncing grown adults who “choose to spend their time mocking and threatening teenagers and children for promoting science”, arguing they “must simply feel so threatened”.

Out of here, Greta, who’s footing the bill for your stay? The taxpayers? Are you going to get high grades and graduate even though you are not attending classes? Go to Chile, calm the crowds but be careful, over there is very different, you may end up with flies in you mouth

The Poor Pigtail Propaganda Princess, so brainwashed that she thinks flying will cause global warming or cooling or something. The climate will change, CO2 makes it all changey, we know that much. “Science” says so. Leonardo should just give her a lift to Madrid on his 450-foot yacht, The Topaz. The Topaz is actually owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the PM of the United Arab Emirates and an oil billionaire. Can you say hypocrite? Sure you can

Yes Greta, meeting with President Trump would be a waste of time. His time

16 years old, but Greta already knows everything, including what President Trump thinks. What a terror she’ll be at 26.

Will she live that long? Oh right, we still have 12 years before the planet is destroyed, phew.

The BBC has moved that up to 18 months. The clock is ticking, get all your ducks in a row 🙂 I hope AOC didn’t get the memo, her eyes will pop right out of her head

Personally, I think a good swim would do her good. Maybe try that Northwest Passage before it freezes over… unless global warming keeps it ice-free, of course. She’s young. She should arrive back home by the time puberty hits. Burn off all those nasty hormones… start college or whatever.

Your blog looks fine to me, DCG.

BTW, I hadn’t known Miss Thunberg had Asperger’s. It explains a lot.

Maybe she could ask Aquaman to find a couple of dolphins to give her a ride across the pond…

LOL, good one. But evidently you don’t take the Climate Crisis (TM) seriously. On the other hand she could grow up, come down from her bad acid trip, fly home, and stay there

The real reason the conference was moved to Madrid was that the organizers realized that to have a global warming conference in Chile was too obvious a contradiction. Speaking of contradictions, National Geographic says we face a water shortage because plants, by using less water, will use more water:

“as CO2 levels increase, plants need less water to do photosynthesis”
“By the end of the century plants could consume substantially more water”

And warming causes cooling. Or is it the other way around? But as Greta says, listen to the scientists. Either way we’re doomed I tell ya. OMG!!

Why would the President of the United States meet with a retarded teenager to discuss energy policy? Has the entire world gone mad? Losers, has beens and wannabes all gather sycophanticly around this child to enhance their image in a race to appear holier than thou in the cult of the climate. This is what happens when a Christian culture devolves into paganism and insanity.

By rejecting Christianity our former “culture” rejects our only source of objective truth. Without objective truth there is no science, no consensus reality, only feels. AGW “science” is not grounded in anything transcendentally true or virtuous, it’s fabricated “reality”, constructed for the sole purpose of acquiring power. To answer your question, the whole world, or a good-sized piece of it, has gone mad. We are witnessing in real time the sleep of reason. And the sleep of reason begets monsters, like an autistic mentally ill kid with pigtails who is somehow transformed into a climate scientist/expert who addresses the UN.… Read more »

Greta was purposely stranded because WE, THE PEOPLE rebuked this puke.
She became a hot potato, and George Soros did what George does naturally, he groomed, banged her, and then dumped her.

Too bad George didn’t wind her up while she was with him. The thought of those gritted teeth biting down on little George is delightful in a mean way.

I will chip in to get her as far away from here as possible-

This young lady needs to get her butt back to Sweden and return to school. I am sick and tired of seeing her sad and angry face.
