That Mitt Romney is a Mormon is, of course, no problem. That he is a Gore-mon, however, is.
Before a town hall meeting in Mancester, New Hampshire today, Romney said,
I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that. It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors.
This statement obviously doesn’t bode well for the prospect that Romney would rein in the EPA and its endangerment finding and economy-killing greenhouse gas regulations.
In a 2008 GOP presidential debate, Romney was critical of unilateral/local emissions cuts, noting it was called “global warming” not “California warming.” But today’s comments raise serious questions about his candidacy.
Note to GOP presidential candidates: If you embrace climate alarmism to appease the alarmists, then don’t because they won’t vote for you anyway and non-alarmists will vote for another Republican candidate.

  1. Romney just proved that he’s not only a RINO, he’s also an idiot.

  2. First Romneycare, now this. Need anymore proof he’s all wrong for the country?

  3. the media is trying very hard to put a chosen candidate in front of you! Romney=huge RINO. Even these commentators do not get it! This election will be very different from the same ole, same ole. People are doing their homework. People are watching and studying and turning every stone like never before.

  4. trying to appeal to a segment of voters who would not vote for him anyway.
no matter how centrist or left leaning, all he is doing is turning away the bloc of voters who might have voted for him.. we need someone to remove obama before he anoints himself king…

  5. Stick a fork in him folks, he’s done!

  6. lowtechgrannie

He’s got Agenda 21 written all over him in big red letters!
That said, how much money could be saved if we eliminated the Depts of Education, Energy, EPA, HUD, Economic Development and Foreign Aid? Does anyone have the cojones to do it? I seriously doubt it.

  7. no no no to Romney, can’t say it enough. Noway, nohow…

  8. We cannot afford to allow the MSM to select a RINO for us yet again – even if that RINO manages to defeat Obama, because a RINO presidency will ultimately be every bit as fatal to America as Obama’s may yet be.
    Just not quite as quickly.

  9. lowrtechgrannie, I couldn’t agree with you more! For one in particular, the EPA is a bunch of aparatchiks who push doctrine and ideology. Out with them and all the other ones you mentioned!!!!! That alone would improve things a lot
