Godman Obama At National Prayer Breakfast

On February 5, at the annual National Prayer Breakfast meeting, Obama took a shot at “birthers” — the derisive name the MSM gave Americans who question whether Obama is a “natural born citizen,” which the U.S. Constitution specifies is one of the necessary criteria for every president.
Obama brought up the issue of civility in Washington and said people should be able to “disagree without being disargeeable. Now, I am the first to confess I am not always right. Michelle will testify to that. But surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith, or, for that matter, my citizenship.” The remark drew applause from the audience.
Mr. Obama, we keep repeating ourselves but you and your mindnumbed followers (see this Mother Jones article for example) just refuse to listen:

There is a very simple way to shut us “birthers” up AND save yourself more than $1 million in legal fees. JUST PRODUCE YOUR FRIGGIN’ ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE!

Pofessor Paul Kengor, author of books including God and Ronald Reagan and God and George W. Bush, also has some interesting observations about Obama’s speech at the breakfast meeting:

“This is an ecumenical gathering, and…Obama was so ecumenical that he never once mentioned ‘Jesus’ or ‘Christ’ or called himself a follower of Jesus Christ or a Christian…. The most common figure in this speech was Barack Obama. In a 17-minute address, one that included the word “humility,” Obama referred to himself 30 times….

Obama went back to a tried-and-true political tactic he has used artfully. He repeatedly preached an end to ‘division’ (three times), the need to find ‘common ground’ (twice)—a brilliant tactic he has employed with Religious Left progressives, including those breathtakingly naïve Catholics at Notre Dame who invited him to speak—and urged ‘civility’ (eight times).
President Obama has employed this rhetoric incessantly while (in practice) never veering from a hard-left agenda. This means that common ground can be found only if the other side comes to his side. It’s a common ground that occupies only one side of the fence.

And yet, Obama said much more. He denounced the practice of demonizing opponents. This raised a few eyebrows. Consider:
Barack Obama is an ardent disciple of Saul Alinsky, his fellow Chicagoan and the father of community organizing. He learned and honed the craft from Alinsky’s own manuals, which Obama studied and taught. Among Alinsky’s core tenets in his landmark Rules for Radicals—a book Alinsky literally dedicated to Lucifer (no kidding, click here)—is to isolate the target at hand and ‘demonize’ it. In Obama’s first year as president, the target assumed various forms, from institutions and industries, to banks and health-insurance companies, to the recurrent demon: the Bush administration.”

  1. I can’t help but notice that we are now almost thirteen months into the screw, and we still have not seen proof that this former community organizer, who four short years ago no one outside of Chicago had ever even heard of, is actually constitutionally eligible to hold the office he was elected to.
Until I see such proof, I will reserve the right to ask questions about, along with anything else I have issues with about this man we still know very little about.
This man has spent a small fortune in an effort to keep many parts of his past under wraps. No one goes to that trouble and expense unless they are hiding something really serious.
If not his place of birth, then what?
BTW – Adolf Hitler had his mother’s residence obliterated in an effort to keep details of his past secret, not the least of which was that he was quite possibly part Jewish.
    Just sayin’.

  2. During The Traitor’s first year, he did nothing more than to divide and eliminate the GOP from any of their discussions. Now, with his failing approval rating and death to health care reform, they are in PR spin mode and trying to get us to believe this “common ground” BS. Ain’t buying it from a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

  3. We won the election and now these sore losers will continue to spew your hate with lies. The way our courts work is that you get a competent lawyer, verifiable facts and present them to a judge, if the facts are real and not half baked lies, then, and only then, you proceed to trial. The Birthers seem to be having a problem with their so called facts that they present. Let’s face it no one will go along with you until you guys win a case, but until then, you will continue to appear dumb, crazy or racist, or maybe all three. Keep plucking that chicken.

    • Montana,
When did you pay $1.7 million to keep your records private? It’s not that the cases don’t have merit, it’s as you say, it’s how our courts work-Got the money get the decision you want. The cases are not over yet, there are at least 2 appeals filed that have yet to be heard. You won the election by hook and by CROOK, I wouldn’t be proud if I was you.

    • Montana,
You’re at once woefully ignorant and terribly confused:
Election is not some child’s game of pouty “sore losers.” It’s serious business. We conservatives are the Opposition, performing a vital check-and-balance function in a Democracy. But then I don’t really expect you to know or appreciate this, as you’re still bowing before the altar of Obama.
As for the rest of your comment — YAWN. Don’t you guys ever have anything new or fresh or intelligent to say?
Oh, by the way, how much are they payin’ ya over there in Organizing for America?

  4. Montana,
Keep plucking that commie pigeon, comrade.
Who knows? Perhaps 10,000 years down the road, you might actually even find one that works.
Shan’t hold my breath waiting, though.
BTW: Happy May Day, comrade Montana!
