This video was made years ago and is even more true today

I know there are people out there who will take issue with Glenn Beck, and I am one of them on some topics, but his words in this video express my own thoughts.

  1. What an idiot. IDFers going mad when they realize what they’re doing, and not good for co-‘occupying’ children. They are armed to the teeth as GB says but didn’t sign non-proliferation agreement like Iran did way back when; won’t abide by UN decisions to stop brutality. US friends with Saudi’s too; triends with Israel and Saudi’s. Talmud not too complimentary toward human rights or children’s innocence. I believe Noahide laws also mention “beheading” signed into law in U.S. by Bush in 90’s (while Schneerson sp? still around; he never rose from the dead of course). All evil oligarchs and religious fakes. GB is the other side of the same record with Bill Maher. Only JESUS can help this mess and he Will with his Word.

  2. Does anyone even pay attention to Beck anymore? I am amazed.

Actually, I don’t. I gave up on him a while back. He was such a fear monger I couldn’t stand him anymore. But I liked his opinions in this video.

  3. I stand with Jesus.

  4. Has Israel ever defended or “stand with” Christians or Christ, especially persecuted Christians?
    No? Why is that?
Has Israel said even a word of sympathy or protest about the many Christians being tortured and slaughtered by Muslims in the Middle East, Africa, the Philippines, Indonesia, or the many Christians being persecuted by the Chinese government in China? (In the case of the latter, there goes a FOTM reader’s excuse that Israel doesn’t say anything because they don’t want to provoke the ire of Muslims.)
It is now 100 years since the genocide of 1 million (Christian) Armenians, but Israel not only refuses to recognize the genocide, Israel has also exerted its influence in Washington to prevent the United States from recognizing the genocide. (Source)
    Why is that?
The fact is that trying to convert a Jew to Christianity in Israel can land you in prison. See Israel’s “anti-missionary” law, passed on Dec. 25, Christmas Day, of 1977. (Does that suggest to you which religion is being targeted?)
Under the Anti-missionary law 5738-1977, it is a crime to “give or promise money, the equivalent of money or any other material benefit in order to entice a person to change his religion.” Although “proselytizing” under this law involves a gift, no matter how small (such as a tract) given to a Jew by a Christian, realistically the word “proselytizing” is much more loosely interpreted. As a case in point, evangelical Christians showed a film about the second coming of Christ in Jerusalem’s largest hotel, the Shalom. This outraged Israel’s chief rabbi, Yitzhak Kolitz, who forbade them to further “proselytize.” (“Jesus Film Stirs Hotel Row,” Jerusalem Post, International Edition, Oct. 16-22, 1983, p.5)
Such ambiguity keeps Christians in Israel on edge, vulnerable to accusations that they “violate the law.” Daniel Rossing, head of the Department of Christian Churches for the Israel Ministry of Religious Affairs, summarized his government’s position: “The government, by all available means, discourages missionary activity.” (Christian Missionary Activity in Israel Under Fire,” L. A. Times, Part I, March 8, 1984, p.8)

      That’s all true.

It is very hard to defend the Jews. Why? Because of the Jews. Every time you see a David, you also see an Ahab.

      • TD,
“Every time you see a David, you also see an Ahab.”
Since you do make a distinction between “David” and “Ahab, why then assume that the Davids and Ahabs = Israel?
What really troubles me is that, correct me if I’m wrong, many Evangelicals 100% and uncritically “stand with” Israel because of Revelation‘s promise that Jews (well, at least 144,000 of them) will convert to Christianity before the end days. But Israel’s anti-missionary law certainly works against that conversion.
MomOfIV says it best. I stand ONLY with Jesus.

          Dr. Eowyn,
Israel is clearly a sticking point. I acknowledge the difficult nature of Israel’s relations with Christians, but also see that the friendship extended by American evangelicals is having a softening effect on many of the jewish people I know, to the point that many are quietly taking a real look at the Gospel. There are many quiet conversions.
That is what I seek. How successful will that be? God knows and I don’t.
And like the Jews, the evangelical Christians are not one monolithic opinion block. If you were to ask a group of evangelicals about Israel you would hear many opinions, some well reasoned, others embarrassingly stupid.
But to the subject of the Glenn Beck video, I believe he is contrasting Israel with their muslim neighbors, and warning us that our nation is siding with the wrong people, a point I firmly agree with.

  5. Israel is not in the state of Israel. There are those “who claim to be Jews though they are not”.

  6. I know the Biblical and historical accounts of Jeshua/Jesus’s time here, so the Roman destruction of the Temple and dispersal of the Israelites seemed to be a pretty final end to that period and lineage.
There is a yawning chasm between a Jew or Jewess and a Zionist, however, and having been partly raised by two Jews who were partners in my father’s plumbing & heating business, I put my money on the Jews, as Zionists are NOT religious but political.
The two Sams in my early life were Sam Silberstein [US native born] and Sam Windstrauch, a refugee from post-WW2 Poland. I learned to speak Yiddish instead of Italian; my parents wanted to Anglocise us ASAP, so they never spoke Italian at home. It was made clear to me that we were in the New World and were US citizens and to behave accordingly. Both Sams agreed on this as well.
Both were also adamant that Israel was a bad idea because, as one of them said, it would only take a few bombs to wipe out most of Jewry, which was true. They taught me that to be a Jew was to have a religion, not a piece of property. So I ‘got it’ at an early age.
If you thoroughly research the true history of Zionism you will see it didn’t have a chance of going anywhere until Theodor Herzl convinced Nathan Rothschild [the London House bankers] that having a nation had many long-term political & economic benefits. Rothschild was not convinced by Herzl’s first visit and sent him away. But Herzl was nothing if not persistent, so eventually he convinced Nathan to ‘donate’ 100,000 BP to the cause, about $5,000,000 US$ today.
In this way the Rothschild’s got diplomatic immunity for transmission of crucial information and materials, and the zionists got funds for firearms, explosives, ammunition, and the usual trappings of food, shelter and travel expenses to begin their merry pranks: see bombing of the King David Hotel and other diversions. []
If you wish to meet true Jews who do not harbour ill will to non-Jews, I strongly recommend you visit the wonderful site of and also Real Jews still await the Messiah, although some sources claim that 25% of US Jews already accept Him, but don’t talk much about it for fear of ridicule. Enuf said, go fish already!

  7. Traildust, I hate to tear down what you are trying to share here, but I think you’ve had your sympathies manipulated. The problem in all this is that the video makes appeals on an simplistic reactive emotional level that designed to be manipulative. It is really the most common form of propaganda, because it has the effect of bypassing our logic even though Beck presents this in what appears to be a very rational argument. We are constantly pushed to chose a side here, by Beck or whatever other media, that if we don’t support Israel and it’s actions then it is assumed that we are supporting Islam. We are manipulated into feeling sympathy and kinship with Israel by contrast with Islam, where in fact historically there is no kinship whatsoever. It’s just not a fair or accurate argument for many of the reasons that are given above by Eowyn and Lori, and a lot more I may add. We keep hearing about the “Islamist terrorists, the Islamist terrorists” when Israel was founded on terror and continues to use terror and duplicity to achieve it’s goals (By Deception, Thou shalt do War ) Geez, haven’t you ever heard of the sinking of the Liberty ? Haven’t you seen the articles of ISIS fighters being treated in Israeli Hospitals ?

  8. I agree with Dr. Eowyn 100% on his comments here. Glenn Beck is, for all intents and purposes, an Obama operative—and he probably doesn’t even know it.
I have met and dealt with many fine Jews here in New York, so let’s not go near the “anti-semite” canard. That’s exactly what it is: a canard, and a false canard at that.
The plain fact is that Netanyahu is a war criminal, or ought to be tried as one, given his policies and actions against the Palestinians. Furthermore, Israel should be investigated for what it has done to infiltrate and influence our own Congress.
At this point, we’re not looking at Judaism as a religion. (And the Talmudic Judaism of today IS NOT the Judaism practiced by Jesus Christ when He was on this Earth). We’re looking at the Judaism that is a political system. A political system of conquest by stealth, and I tire very quickly of useless idiots like Beck, and Bill O’Reilly, for that matter.
This calls for the spiritual and intellectual Drano of the truth!
