Friday Funnies! A joke *and* Hitler!

We have a joke and Hitler!

A young man named Chuck bought a horse from a farmer for $250. The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day.

The next day, the farmer drove up to Chuck’s house and said, “Sorry, son, but I have some bad news, the horse died.”

Chuck replied, “Well then, just give me my money back.”

The farmer said, “Can’t do that, I went and spent it already.”

Chuck said, “Okay then, just bring me the dead horse.”

The farmer asked, “What ya gonna do with him?”

Chuck said, “I’m going to raffle him off.”

The farmer said, “You can’t raffle off a dead horse!”

Chuck said, “Sure I can. Watch me. I just won’t tell anybody he’s dead.”

A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, “What happened with that dead horse?”

Chuck said, “I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at $5 a piece and made a profit of $2,495.”

The farmer said, “Didn’t anyone complain?”

Chuck said, “Just the guy who won. So I gave him his $5 back.”

Chuck grew up and now works for the government.

Funny. Can’t resist giving out some similar Maine humor: Two farmers were talking about horses. Farmer 1: My horse is sick. What did you give your horse when he was sick? F2 : I gave ‘im kerosene. Next morning: F1: You said you gave your horse kerosene when he was sick. Well, I gave my horse kerosene and he died! F2: Ayuh. Mine did too Poor Adolf, one of the great losers of history. It’s relevant to note that he was elected by a minority of German voters. An object lesson in how much damage a significant minority can do… Read more »

I think just about everything bad that’s going on in America could be traced back and variations of it seen in Hitler’s Germany.

There are similarities. Germany was humiliated after WWI and their economy was in ruins, paving the way for Hitler who appealed to their nationalistic pride. But nationalism became hyper-nationalism with subsequent military overreach and ultimately the utter destruction of Germany. I believe Hitler was a stooge, set up to be knocked down. He received financial backing from major Rothschild-affiliated European banks as well as from American capitalists like Prescott Bush. In return he was expected to put the Jews into camps, not for extermination, but for safekeeping in order that they could be moved into Palestine after the war ,… Read more »
