Flowers On My Walk

Rate this post

Here are pics of flowers I took on my recent walks, erh, hobbles. (I’ve been stricken by a case of sciatica, running from my left butt down my left leg. LOL)
Almost all the flowers are untended or naturalized, growing by the road outside a home.
We begin with a view of the Bay on an overcast day….

Thanks for posting, Eowyn! Those photos are a great way to start my day.

  2. I love flowers, thats pretty-sorry about your sciatica,I have one in the exact same place. Awful pain. thankfully it doesn’t come around much (knock on wood) thankyou for the stroll.

    • Tina, how long did it take you to recover from your sciatica? Did you do something about it?

      • Eowyn, total rest is thee only thing that can help mine, and that is hard to do. It hit me years ago and has not left. It just lies there silently until I do something to wake it up! I have an excellent chiropractor, that eases it,if it gets uncontrollable.

      • Gorgeous pics! Thanks for sharing. And jumping in: It depends on what’s causing the sciatica. For me, it’s the right side. After herniating a disc in my back, the things that help my sciatica are my physical therapy, short walks, sitting in a very short chair, sleeping on my side, and if I’m sitting in a regular chair, I need to be able to lean forward, a little, bracing my arms on the table. That and 600 mg of ibuprofen occasionally. I’m so sorry you’re hurting.

  3. So beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!

  4. gorgeous, as always! …and a peachy Angel’s Trumpet ( my Favorite!)
I hope you feel better soon

  5. Another set of pictures for us to enjoy. The flowers in your area are beautiful. Do you happen to know what the small white ones are? They remind me of Stephanotis (spell ?), which I dearly love. They were the main flowers in my wedding many years ago. As far as your Sciatica, you might try a chiropractor. Hubby sent me to one when he was unable to get my back any better. I was sceptical, but it worked.
