No better security than a Magnum, a shot gun and a 45 within reach, the hell with the cameras and for that baby girl a Blue Ribbon and tender loving care. ??

Alma I agree! There is no sound in the world like a pump shotgun loaded with either “OO” or #4 Buckshot. I have 41 pellet 3 inch #4 Buck in one of my home “Who-Dat” shotguns. I have 12 pellet “OO” in another. Yes I keep more than one handy!

I’m so glad the black lab is recovering from her injury.

Question: Since the home had outdoor security camera(s) installed, wouldn’t the 4 home-invasion robbers be captured on video? — which Houston PD should publicize?

I just read where that other stupid SWAT invasion (I think it was in Houston TOO!), where they shot the couple and their dog and later claimed to have shot back was bogus. The couple were unarmed. They murdered them and their dog and then found out they were at the wrong address. Then, of course, they tried to cover it up. Actually, the cops shot each other (non-life threatening wounds) and claimed it was the couple. Somehow their body cams gave them away. What do these monkeys think is going to happen when you come in plain clothes at… Read more »

Agree, but at the other extreme you have MA where the courts are literally facilitating crime. I had mentioned a case where an ex-con “minority” was busted with 2000 bags of heroin in his car but the courts tossed the case because he was detained for 45 minutes, a violation of his ‘civil rights”. Now they allowed him to sue the police chief for 30 million. I know the chief, a black man and a graduate of Williams College, a by-the-book straight shooter. Yesterday I read in our local paper that a woman that I used to work with, a… Read more »

I’m only saying that politics shouldn’t even be a factor in this. The Bill of Rights used to be respected in US law. About the only circumstance where these raids are logical and maybe proper, is during a hostage situation where time is important. Up until (I’m guessing) 1980 any warrant served or attempt at an arrest carried out in this manner would have resulted in all the charges being dropped and those involved being prosecuted. I”m all for a return to that standard. “Officer safety” does not take precedence over our rights as citizens. If you can serve a… Read more »

Oh, I agree with you, absolutely. I’m just pointing out that sometimes good honest law enforcement, at least here, is completely hamstrung. A socially engineered communist utopia describes this state perfectly lately. I suspect it will get worse. Ironically, or not, the State Police here are fascist assholes. They even wear shiny black gestapo boots. You will obey The State. Now hold out your arm and get your vaccine
