Liberals lecture everyone to reduce their carbon footprint; why not drag queens?

The left will tell you that we need drag queens. Some say we need them “now more than ever.”

According to the Daily Beast, drag queens are “a celebration of love, self-empowerment, and subversive fabulousness that’s essential in today’s climate.”

Other reasons we need drag queens? So they can teach us about makeup (particularly contouring) and – of course – to read to our young children. Because we can address serious problems in our culture through the joy of reading.

Environmental activists lecture us about everything we do – from air travel to eating out to the number of children one chooses to have. Has anyone ever questioned the environmental impact drag queens have on our planet?

The personal care industry generates $500 billion per year and nearly EVERY product touches plastic.

The other day I got dressed and realized that every beauty and cosmetic product I use touches fossil fuels whether it be in the ingredients, production, packaging or distribution. I’m not worried about my carbon footprint yet am reminded all the time by progressives that I need to reduce it to save the planet.

Takes a LOT of fossil fuel production for this transformation

I’m guessing that drag queens have makeup kits that are three or four times the size of mine. Drag queens MUST use foundation and contouring sticks (which I never use). I purchase a new blush compact about every nine months. I’ll bet you that drag queens use one (if not more) blush compact every month.

Let’s take a look at the very extensive makeup list that Drag Queen Felicity uses, shall we?

• Medical adhesive to cover eyebrows, applied using a disposable mascara wand
• Translucent powder on the brows
• Foundation base (also known as paint stick)
• Contour color
• White paint stick for highlighting (using beauty blender)
• Eye gel liner (applied using angle brush)
• Bullet tip brush for eye shaping
• Brown shadow as nose contour and eye blend color
• Four pairs of Elegant Lashes #301 on the top and one pair of smaller lashes on the bottom
• Lip stick
• Apply a mix of fine and salt grain craft glitter to make lips pop

I’m sure the “Felicity” uses many more products and tools that were not on that list (eye shadow, Q-tips, brushes, and hair/wig and cleansing products).

My makeup routine includes 7 products that last me a long, long time.

Are drag queens given any lectures about the environmental impact of their cosmetic use? That would be a big fat NO.

Drag queens are protected from the wrath of environmental zealots because of progressives’ desire to destroy gender norms.

When you’ve got an agenda to push, the rules mean nothing. Works for Leonardo DiCaprio, Hanoi Jane and Al Gore.

Drag queens are the image of a perfect mannequin, they are just for show, don’t touch or it’ll crumble. They are passionate and with a strong desire for attention and money -their attractiveness is being gay men and not transgenders, they are appealing to men that are not necessarily gay but like gay men. Being a drag queen is a clown with a different costume -a one-man show.

Carbon footprint rules don’t apply when you are doing the important work of poisoning young minds with “subversive fabulousness”. Don’t you know anything? 🙂

I’m sincerely trying to think of reasons why we need drag queens “now more than ever”. Or really ever, for any reason. The only thing I can come up with is that we could all benefit from extra target practice. Now more than ever

Transvestites “can teach us about makeup”?
Only if you want to look like a clown or something from a horror movie.
