Democrats have gone so far left, even rabid anti-Trumper Cher, who fantasized putting President Trump in a “straight jacket,” is balking at their latest proposals.
In a tweet on April 14, 2019, 72-year-old Cher questioned why some wanted Los Angeles to take in even more immigrants when it already has a large homeless population:

9 days later, in a tweet that she since deleted, Cher expressed her incredulity at socialist senator and 2020 presidential aspirant Bernie Sanders saying convicted criminals in prison shouldn’t be deprived of the right to vote.
In a CNN town hall meeting on April 23, Sanders said:
“Yes, even for terrible people because once you start chipping away — you say, ‘That guy committed a terrible crime, we’re not going to let him vote,’ or ‘that person did that,’ you’re running down a slippery slope. So, I believe people who commit crimes, they pay the price and they get out of jail, they certainly should have the right to vote…I believe even if they are in jail, they’re paying the price to society, but that should not take away their inherent American right to participate in our democracy.”
Reacting with disbelief, Cher tweeted, “Does Bernie Sanders Really Believe Ppl In Prison Who Are Murderers⁉️ Rapists⁉️ Child Molesters⁉️ BOSTON BOMBERS.…STILL DESERVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE⁉️”
Of course, none of this means Cher has been “red-pilled” and is “woke” because she will still vote for whoever the 2020 Demonrat presidential nominee will be.

I don’t trust Cher to have wisdom, but am relieved to see her slam the brakes on Bernie Sanders’ ridiculous and ruinous idea to give the vote to felons in prison.
It reminds me of Mike Dukakis when in a debate for the Bush vs Dukakis presidential contest, doubled down on his “no death penalty” position, even if his wife had been the victim.

I said that felons, once released from prison, have their 2nd amendment rights restored as well. Why not, they have paid their debt to society?

I understand from more recent news clips that Cher has walked her comments back a bit. That leads me to believe that her main interest in running her mouth is that she desires to continue to keep her name in the headlines. Let’s face it, at 72, the world is not exactly knocking at her door with offers to put her on the world stage. Nor should they, she had a very successful career–now is the time for her to sit back, and SHUT UP!!!!
Let us not forget, logic is not something they’re familiar with. I’m sure she didn’t consider what she said anymore than she considers what she says when The Odor hands her a script to read.
She DOES know that as long as she obeys and does as she’s told the money keeps coming.
