Dr. Drew: Bubonic plague is likely already in Los Angeles

The filthy conditions of Democrat-run U.S. cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles are so alarming that even the New York Times‘ opinion columnist has acknowledged that fact in a May 22 op/ed, “America’s Cities Are Unlivable. Blame Wealthy Liberals”.

On May 23, the Calcutta-like conditions of Los Angeles — California’s biggest city and the second largest U.S. city in population, numbering 4 million — prompted famous TV addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky to predict a major infectious disease epidemic this summer.

See “New York Times admits Democrat-run cities are unlivable. Dr. Drew predicts major epidemic in filthy Los Angeles this summer

A week later, after news that an L.A. police officer had contracted typhoid fever, a rare and life-threatening illness that fewer than 350 Americans contract each year, Dr. Drew repeated his prediction, saying that he believes bubonic plague — a pandemic that killed tens of millions of people during the 14th century – “likely” is already present in Los Angeles.

Last Thursday night, May 30, 2019, on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” Dr. Drew said:

“We have a complete breakdown of the basic needs of civilization in Los Angeles right now.

We have the three prongs of airborne disease, tuberculosis is exploding, (and) rodent-borne. We are one of the only cities in the country that doesn’t have a rodent control program, and sanitation has broken down. We have a typhus outbreak last summer; we’ll have a typhus outbreak this summer. I’m hearing from experts that bubonic plague is likely already here…. And finally, we have this fecal-group contamination, which is typhoid fever — three cases, one confirmed, probably three.

This is unbelievable! I can’t believe I live in a city where this is not Third World. This is medieval. Third World countries are insulted if they are accused of being like this. No city on Earth tolerates this. The entire population is at risk. And God forbid…if measles gets in, I just have an image of myself on my knees in the gutter attending to people. This summer is likely to be a very profound problem….

[Responding to host Laura Ingraham about the flood of illegals with diseases pouring across the border,] the government is somehow insisting that housing is the problem when in fact we have chronic mental illness, we have addiction, we have people who don’t want to leave the streets. They literally won’t take the housing if we give it to them. And that’s the population that’s vulnerable, and is going to get so ill this summer. It scares me for their well-being….

This is reckless negligence [on the part of the city government]. This is disgusting. We have to have a solution to this.”

Go to FoxNews for the video of Dr. Drew.

The Los Angeles city government consists of:

  • Mayor Eric Garcetti, Democrat.
  • City Attorney Mike Feuer, Democrat.
  • City Controller Ron Galperin, Democrat.
  • City Council: 14 of the 15 City Council members are Democrats (the remaining member is Republican).

A border wall would help with rodent control. Bubonic plague – not surprising, it’s never been eradicated. If it becomes pneumonic, then LA has a serious problem. I’m always wary of infectious epidemics being exploited for social control. This could cut both ways, TPTB could declare an emergency and say the only solution is World Communism NOW. And if this gets much worse people would go along with it. Nothing has as much skeer value as an infectious disease epidemic. The homeless not wanting to leave the streets, that’s not surprising either. It’s California, it’s summertime and the livin’ is… Read more »

At its most basic, my take is that this isn’t new. We used to call them “Winos” and “junkies”. Somehow (there’s a clue here!) we controlled it. If there was a will to control it, it would be controlled. Why is there no “will”? Because it primarily impacts citizens, not elites. Secondly, The Odor wants it. It’s part of the plan, just like softening up a beachhead before an invasion. They are already here. The Odor is not “out there”, it’s “here”. They are not going to announce it. They wish to create such chaos, disease and unrest that people… Read more »

The Odor is here, yes, has been for a long time. We’re seeing the beginning of the end game if that makes sense. They’ve created economic hopelessness by offshoring all manufacturing jobs and exacerbated that by bringing in heroin and crack cocaine. Heroin used to be hard to get and expensive, now I could have all I want within 15 minutes and I live in a small town in the Berkshires. How did that happen? Just one of those things I guess, the “opioid epidemic” just happened. And to further fuel the despair we have intolerable Frankfurt-influenced “music” and “culture”,… Read more »

I like your responses. You get it. It may be that all we can hope for is to preserve our own integrity. I am not lazy, but I’m realistic. The simple fact that we routinely allow some amorphous “it” to design and control our lives is spooky enough. These talking heads read their daily blast faxes and, right there, there is a decision on what we are supposed to think and do. Initially they proceeded carefully, lest they awake the targets. By now they’ve found that they don’t recognize the obvious when its chewing on their ankles. This process started… Read more »

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalm 9:17).
It is a dangerous thing to turn from God.

Hell is here already, the illegals, the homeless, the plagues, corruption, lesbians, queers, muslimes, killings, can it get any better?

Demorat-run metro areas are literally third-world infected sh*tholes. And yet the masses keep voting for them. I will never understand them…

Well, that’s what we’re told. I, for one, am not convinced. I don’t trust the voting anymore than I do the politicians and I think the whole thing is a side show. I don’t think that the leftist leadership thinks their ideas are workable. That isn’t why they’re there. Once they have total power and control watch how restrictive they get. Right not they are in the destroy mode. If they need a pretext to do that they will invent one. What we see as damage to our society they see as progress. I always vote, that doesn’t mean that… Read more »

Once they installed those electronic voting machines, bye bye real voting. Someone “tested” the machines and pressing the same button for the same candidate resulted in other candidates being “selected”.

I don’t think the masses vote for them except in places like here in MA where it’s just reflexive. It’s what you do if you live here. The very large states are more evenly divided along party lines and always have been. If they control the electoral process, the apparatus, they simply manufacture votes, just enough usually to steal elections. They try not to make it too obvious although it’s very easy to do since electronic voting was instituted. And you can’t rectify a stolen election with a recount because there is nothing to count, no ballots, just numbers. A… Read more »

Whether they wish to be or not, they are a menace. We live in groups. Groups must have minimal rules and standards of behavior in order to protect the group. I understand that a lot of these people don’t like rules. I don’t necessarily either, but I know they are necessary. It is not acceptable to just allow them to squat and infect. If it means scraping them all up and taking them to camps, so be it. I mean, lets be realistic here. They are basically human rats. If they’re nuts, get them to treatment. If they’re criminal, get… Read more »

They really don’t want to protect them. They need the endless crisis to keep the taxpayer money flowing for bureaucrats. Look what they are doing in Olympia: The Crisis Response Unit receives hundreds of calls re: the homeless (mostly from their own govt employees). ““More than half” of those calls were made by CRU members, 73 came from police or fire crews, and 63 came from emergency dispatchers.” “The CRU is emphatic about the fact that it never “restrain(s) people against their will,” and isn’t designed to mandate inpatient mental health care. Rather, its members employ a more gentle touch… Read more »

Well, of course! Here’s how these scams work: There are the Prime Movers and Shakers that control everything. Then there are legions of politicians. These are basically like “Capos” in the Mafia. They are “allowed” by their owners to scam whatever they like, so long as it doesn’t interfere with The Plan. As I’ve said a number of times, this isn’t a new phenomenon. We don’t need innovation to fix this, we need determination. Encouraging them is not the answer. Remember, these are politician’s scams and all of their minions. If they can siphon off some money they’ll do it.… Read more »

They may turn them into Bolsheviks to go after the middle class, just as an experiment to see what happens. Why doesn’t Pelosi invite them to camp on her front lawn?

Maybe they need to fire some morons ruining (I mean running) LA? Here’s a solution, install *free* toilets with sinks, soap and A.W. on every street corner. Don’t make them private so perverts can’t use the crappers for disgusting activities. Problem solved, sort of. Too bad people don’t know that bubonic plague is defeated using raw garlic. Even the 4 thieves vinegar would be worth taking instead of ‘black box’ antbiotics that can kill you. https://wellnessmama.com/2610/four-thieves-vinegar-tonic/ While I don’t agree that garlic is an “optional” ingredient, if your stomach is sensitive you can try powdered olive leaves instead, but garlic… Read more »

Yesterday on Winterwatch, Russ talked about horse poop and the issue with it. The government in most cities, including NYC actually did what they are suppose to do. The pictures are pretty gross but the bottom line is CLEAN UP your SHITTE, problem solved. But maybe this is a problem which is desired by TPTB

Pnuemonic and bubonic plague are 2 different things…the first passed from person to person, & the 2nd from rat flea to person. Both of these medieval, fatal diseases, could be passed on from either source in our present-day post-Obama-open-world-borders…and it appears that it has transpired as such (DO NOT EVEN ask me—until later…abt the “Hispanic” “unreported resitant to treatment ” tuberculosis that I had ACTIVE in a student in my room fo r a YEAR b/f any notification. Now, every YEAR I sweat my TB test that allows me….or NOT…..to earn a living in my teaching profession.)………..Pnuemonic…might be ameoliorable to… Read more »
