Donations to NRA PAC tripled after Florida shooting

Backfire…

A more accurate headline: Donations to NRA tripled after #GunControlNow crowd goes after NRA. Great job kids!
From NY Post: Contributions to the National Rifle Association’s political action committee tripled in February amid public attacks against the organization following the Feb. 14 high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
Supporters of the Second Amendment donated about $779,000 in February to the NRA’s political arm, the Political Victory Fund, according to recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) data.
The figure marked a more than threefold increase compared to January, when the PAC received nearly $250,000 in donations, and was the fund’s second-best month over the last year.
The NRA has come under fire from gun control activists, who have criticized the group in the wake of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 dead.
Last weekend, thousands of people rallied in support of gun control during the “March for Our Lives” protest, with many placards openly attacking the NRA. The increasing onslaught against the organization, however, correlated with more donations going to the group’s PAC.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, two weeks before the fatal school shooting, the NRA’s PAC received $27,100 from itemized contributions — donations that exceed $200 — from 51 donors. Over the next two weeks after the shooting, the itemized contributions skyrocketed to nearly $71,000 from 226 donors.
Most donations to the group — totaling $685,099 — came in small donations that did not exceed $200.
Multiple politicians are facing the fury of anti-gun activists who criticize them for accepting the NRA’s support and donations. US Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) is among the primary targets due to the NRA’s support of him, which totals more than $3 million, although actual donations to his campaigns since 2010 totaled only nearly $15,000.
The Political Victory Fund’s donations to individual lawmakers are limited due to election laws that limit contributions to $10,000 per election cycle.

This is funny particularly since the Hillary Clinton campaign overspent Trump by 4:1. Hillary Clinton may have been the best opponent the Republicans had since George McGovern. She beat herself with the projection comment, “deplorable”. It seem if you have Kuru disease that is deplorable. When you have MK Ultra and Operation Mockingbird working for you and you lose it make you look very deplorable.

For all the thousands of fools who were there to protest the N.R.A., there are tens of millions of true U.S. Citizens who stayed at home in support of the N.R. A., and will stand in defense of our second amendment.

Reblogged this on necltr and commented: Why isn’t there anger over the failure of Sheriff Israel and others to easily disarm Cruz? I believe Broward County has an immense police force and budget. Could this have happened in Dade County? Israel’s deputies were ordered to stand back and to allow a shooter or shooters to take student lives. Was it in any way to work towards Globalism with a step to remove our Second Amendment, and, was that objective worth the loss of seventeen lives – there could have been more were it not for the rescue by officers not… Read more »

Based on what they’re telling us on TV there doesn’t seem to be any consequence for the worst response on record. Why isn’t he fired? Instead, they are angry at the NRA and gun owners. Pretty silly I’d wager.

Did you see the extended YouTube video of sheriff israel and several other sheriffs have a meeting in a mosque, speaking fluent Arabic? And patting themselves on the backs for keeping youth out of jail? Look that up. I’m on my phone and it’s hard to work that link unless I’m on my laptop.

DCG . . . . I am going to go a little off track here . . . although I am thrilled that the nonsense down in Parkland has caused that “Sleeping Giant,” which is America to wake up to our awful sense of doom if the Progressives have their way. Two nights ago I was looking at various clips on YouTube. The first one I came across was of CBS interviewing David Hogg, in the interview he stated, “I heard the gunshots, I live three miles from the school, I jumped on my bike and road as far as… Read more »

Excellent analogy of this punk Hogg. I agree with all your points. I have found the same information in him. He is crying about bullying when he is the cyber bully. What he demands will cost jobs. I too have contacted those that support this twit. It breaks my heart to lose Netflix, but their turn to the left, having the Obamas with their own program, Soros being a major owner and Rice being put in the board finished me off, after 14 years we are done, oh well, the Longmire series is over anyways.

Glenn47 . . . .A couple of other points that I thought were very interesting . . . in some of the picture of the group of five “Survivors of the shooting from the school’ when they were photographed prior to the beginning of the panel discussion, Mr Hogg was smiling from ear to ear. Then the next picture taken was after the panel discussion started . . . there was NO SMILE in sight, from the demeanor on his face, you would have thought that his dog had just died in his arms. Very. very much like Robby Parker… Read more »

Lulu, you are ANYTHING but weird. You are precisely right. I think our ham, er Piglet, isn’t too terribly smart. He is proud of himself for saying stupid things. He’s a little like Sparky Bush that way. He used to do the same thing. He would go off script then beam at himself for being so “clever”. We know they planned this months in advance. You’ve seen the pictures of him with Valerie Jarret. Just like in Connecticut, there are connections here. It is a testament to poor judgement that they selected him as their “face of youth” for their… Read more »

Dr Eowyn . . . God Bless you for finding the very set of pictures I was referring to. (Unfortunately, my PC skills are close to nil, so I have to leave the fancy stuff to others.) That picture just shows how very pleased these morons are with themselves, but like good actors . . . then eventually get in character. In the picture on the top right, as far as I am concerned, Piglett has the brightest smile among that entire group–he is no doubt extremely pleased with himself.

You’re quite right. They, and especially him, are perpetuating a fraud. He would not hear the gunshots three miles away. They only lasted six minutes. If he could peddle his bike 30 MPH (which is unlikely) it would have taken him that long to get there. This whole thing is a setup. “Marbelnecltr” (above) wondered why there was so little anger. I suppose I’d ask, “how do you know”. I wouldn’t base reactions or anything approaching “reality” from TV. This whole thing is a made for TV propaganda hype. As to advertisers, they really don’t care about that. The government… Read more »

lophatt . . . . Bravo! You really nailed it! I think Piglet is one of the most detestable human beings I have even had the displeasure to come upon. I hope that his future is marked with failure and disappointment. He and his Nazi arm band, and semi-Nazi arm salute can go take a long walk off a short pier! Sooner rather than later.

If you look at my 1:15 one line comment below, you will find further contradictions to add to the abundance Dr. Eowyn has already provided. Hogg’s cell phone talk from the closet (great lighting!) Is timed at 9:30 am, yet the shooting took place later, 2:30 pm. People below the age of 25 encouraged by Soros and perhaps Podesta and Alinsky.

Yes, I noticed that too. I didn’t say anything since it was already sufficiently established as an utter fake.

I know it sounds cold, but to me it makes no difference. It is a fraud. Whether anyone is injured, killed, or not is not what makes these “real”. Real means “naturally occurring”. I don’t spend a lot of time usually on that aspect of these things. I absolutely believe that it makes no difference to the producers whether they kill people or not. I think they do whatever they think is most advantageous to their goal. I further don’t think they care if its one or a thousand. The only reason I ever bring it up is as to… Read more »

More and more it is coming out that David Hogg is a Constitution trashing freedom hater. The Second Amendment states: “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed” I gave up a piece of my life and some body parts defending the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Other than trashing the Second Amendment, what has David Hogg done for America? Nothing!
