A young, copper-colored Nova Scotia retriever named Pastis has better manners and more self-restraint than many humans.
He waits for grace to be said before eating.
Pastis was recently adopted — and already well-trained — by Fr. Cédric Lafontaine, a priest of the Community of Saint Martin, an association of priests and deacons living their apostolate in community, at the service of dioceses. Fr. Lafontaine is currently serving the diocese of Amiens, France.
